Jamie’s POV
After getting into the safe room with everyone else. I sat down with Tara, Sage and Stella. I could feel how tired I was all of a sudden. The energy I used with the plants plus the pup, drained my energy fast. I could feel myself starting to drift off to sleep. Stella wrapped her arms around me and told me to rest. I could tell how worried she was from her voice. Soon I was asleep.
When I woke up I was in mine and Cameron’s bed. The fight against the rogues must have been over. I heard the shower running and knew he was getting cleaned up. I had a feeling that the conversation we were about to have wouldn’t be pleasant. I heard the shower turn off and sat up in bed.
