FARAH’S POV:
After my encounter with the strange man, I went to my room. My dad came in a while later.
“Princess don’t worry. You don’t have to marry him. No one is force you.” He said and I relaxed, hugging Dad.
“Dad why isn’t he leaving me alone? Who is he?” I asked Dad, curiously.
“He is Musa Ali Khan. He is mainly businessman but he has connections in the politics as well as the mafia. He is known for his unlimited power and money in the country.” Dad said and I knew that my life would change if things continued.
3 DAYS LATER,
My college finally began and I arrived and met Hania. It was relaxing to finally be with her. After a while, I was called to the principal’s office, so I walked there and knocked before I entered.
There I saw Mr. I don’t no for an answer. I fought with him and he put something on my nose, that made me lose my conscious.
As soon as I woke up, I saw him again, this time he was coming towards me, so I quickly moved away. He blackmailed me into marrying him. I would’ve better died rather than marrying him, but I loved my father more than my life. I agreed to him and soon after nikah, he let me go home.
I went to my room and burst out crying. My phone then rang, I checked to see it was unknown number.
“Hello?” I questioned.
“Hello baby girl. Stop crying, it hurts me.” A voice said on the other side.
I scoffed,”If you really cared about me, you wouldn’t have married me. What am I gonna tell Dad?”
“You don’t have to say anything. My mom is going to come again tomorrow to talk to your father. This time you will say yes.” He spoke.
I had no option but to agree and cut the call.
At dinner, Dad asked why I was so gloomy.
“Nothing.” I stated and Dad sighed knowing that I wouldn’t tell and left to his room.
I didn’t go to college the next day I had a headache from the continuous crying. I woke up at noon when someone knocked at my room door.
“Leave. I don’t need anything.” I announced.
Dad came in and sat next to me on my bed. He told me to think about the proposal.
“Ok Dad. If you think he is good, then I have no problem marrying him.” I was choking on my own words, but I did not have another option. Dad kissed my forehead and left the room, in which my tears fell again
