Waking up in Jackson’s arms is like waking up wrapped in this warm blanket of safety. If I could stay here forever and forget about our problems, I would, but unfortunately, my past demons won’t allow me the peace of this new safe haven. I look at Jackson and see that he is still sleeping soundly and I take the time to just take in the man I have been blessed with. He looks so peaceful, like our world isn’t about to be torn apart. I know I will do everything to make sure my past doesn’t take away his future, I can only hope that when I am gone, the pack will still help Cole. This pack was very unexpected, but I am grateful for their support. They don’t deserve the hell that is about to come their way and I wonder if they are prepared for what is to come. I don’t expect anyone to fight for
