Seeing the wonder in Katy’s eyes as she took in the waterfall, made me appreciate this little piece of heaven I bit more. This is the place where Alpha Ryan found me. I was running from the wolves that were patrolling the territory, when I came to a stop at this waterfall. The beauty of it can’t be ignored. When I asked Ryan why he stopped his patrols from killing me, he said it was because I stopped to take in the beauty around me instead of running right past it. At first that didn’t make sense to me, but after time I understood, rogues that are too far gone don’t see beauty in anything. They only have one thing on their mind and that is destroying. The fact that I stopped just to look around me, showed him that there was still someone worth saving.
