My dad wasn't excited that I was going to become Cayden's Queen finally, he hated the idea of the species intermixing but honestly, I see nothing wrong with it. The moon goddess chose us for a reason and I was not going to throw away that gift when I was finally happy and felt fulfilled since being with Cayden. Cayden was a playboy but changed completely and would be a great mate and father one day. My father had forgotten a gift for my mom and asked me to pick it up so I got the nearest cab and went over there notifying Cayden of where to collect me.
I pulled up as I saw my mother's limo pulling off but she didn't see me, I ran upstairs quickly to get her gift. I went into their room but it wasn't there and I was about to message my dad when I saw it on my bed instead. I looked at it and it was diamond earrings, I turned to wait for Cayden, he should be here any minute now, I was about to leave and turned to see Bradley. "You looked great," he said, I smiled and said, "Thank you," he had this weird scent that confused me and I was feeling dizzy. He held me and said, "Are you, okay?" I started burning up, I was going into heat and tried to tell Bradley to go away, but it was more intense than usual and I was in so much pain, I couldn't scream as I saw Bradley taking his clothes off. I tried to mind-link Cayden or anybody but it wouldn't work and I couldn't feel my wolf or magic, I was human, and I cried as I knew this was a bad situation.
I tried to get up but he took my clothes off and I cried, begging him not to do this and leave me alone, I never felt fear like this before, but the pain came crashing down and then he was on top of me, raping me. I heard a stern voice saying, "Leave us," my father growled looking at my great-grandfather who was not backing down staring at him. He still wore his suit from last night and I smiled at him, I love my great-grandparents, and losing my grandmother years ago was a blow to them. They became very protective of me and my mother, he hugged me as everyone left the room and asked, "Did you choose this, sweet pea?" I wasn't sure of anything but the memories said I did, "I chose Bradley, and I love him," I closed my mouth quickly realizing what I said, thinking this isn't right, why would I hurt Cayden like this? I saw my mother walk in, I saw my great-grandparents leave through a portal. I cried because I knew it was over between me and Cayden, my father caused this and I will never forgive him for this.

I reached the ball with a few of my men, Alma was my plus one tonight, she became a good friend of mind once we settled our differences. Marion was needed elsewhere and I understood, we were secretly plotting and executing the demise of King Roman for his betrayal of the crown over the years. I saw my granddaughter walk in and my heart skipped a beat, if I didn't know any better, I would think it was Ashlyn, I still miss her and although the years go by, her death still pained me not knowing if we did indeed caught her killer as I look at Erik. I wanted him dead, I had hoped to get a vision about him killing my daughter but it never came, she never told us who killed her to keep the peace. She knew I would have burned Dartmouth down with or without Aidan's approval, I would haven't stopped until I had Erik strung up by the balls.
I looked into Addison's eyes and hugged her, she was my guiding light, what was left of Ashlyn and I missed my grandbaby, I asked her for Allison. The moment I did, I felt uneasy, something was wrong, both Addy and I linked her but nothing, so I linked Cayden who told me that he was outside about to link her to come down. I felt better but still off, I watched Addison go and mingle seeing Ty look at her and I smiled, he was my unofficial son-in-law since I am her father figure because Erik is a joke. The night started good and I was dancing with Alma when all hell broke loose. Alma stood behind me as we watched everything go down saying, "Your Majesty, are you seeing this?" She had her hand to her mouth in disbelief, Drax was shot in the head and Ty read blood, even more shocking when Drax got up and held back his anger from attacking Roman.
I saw it played out like a movie and I couldn't wait to tell Marion, also Luc and Philip would not believe this, I smiled seeing Roman scared. We haven't seen that in him for a long time, he knew then that the Valmores were just a bit stronger than him, and knowing Roman, it would not sit well with him. I feel something off and I open a portal without realizing it and leave to find myself in Addion's penthouse, I walk over to the bedroom and see Bradly in bed with Allison trying to wake her and I use my power to choke him back on the wall. I picked up my baby when he said, "We are mated, it was consensual, she chose me, she is out because of the marking, I swear to you, King Dragu." I looked at him and said, "Until this is confirmed, please leave now or I will end you right here," no one else was going to hurt my family.

We learned of what happened that night and it was not what we wanted to hear but as far as everyone knew, Cayden and Allison were over. The coronation was off and Erik got his wish, Cayden was in a coma for a week because of the new marking, what was Allison thinking? Cayden could have died if not for Michael, that's why, I think we don't know the whole story, Allison is hiding something and hopefully, she trusted her mother enough to reach out. Allison loved Cayden so her picking Bradley over him was a shock to all of us. I just hope it all works out in the end, I can't afford to lose any more of my family thinking about my beautiful wife. Marion wasn't pleased with this whole Allison and Cayden scenario but we let it be and will be there for her as long as she wants us to. I was in my office when Alma came into the room, I was about to meet Marion for lunch when Alma looked at me and said, "I need your help."
I was confused because I would help her, no need to ask unless this was something bad, I told her to calm down when I saw the blood on her hands. I looked at her and asked, "What did you do, Alma?" She was scared and started crying, her dress was torn, she looked at me and said, "I think I killed him." I saw her bruised lip and I knew she meant that mate of hers, I told her to take me to him and we went to her house, only, it wasn't her husband, it was some random guy. I looked at her and said, "He is good as dead," she said, "I invited him here for the sale of the car outside, I was about to give him the keys when he just attacked me, he tried to kill me I swear. John will think I was having an affair because he is naked." I linked Lascelles who got his men and they cleaned up the mess, I took Alma to the guest room to rest and I was going to call John to come home. I was about to place her on the bed but my foot tripped over the rug and I fell on top of her, we both laughed until I saw my very angry wife staring at us in the doorway.
