Anant Past -2

Maanyata fall on the floor unconsciously while blood started oozing out from her forehead, Bipin got scared, while Neelima is in numb seeing her precious daughter falling unconscious on the floor and at that time only Anant come inside the house and saw the dreadful sight infront of his eyes. He immediately rush towards his unconscious sister body and keep her head on his lap.

"Maanyata Maanyata Maanyata open your eyes" Anant called in a panicked voice.

Then Anant look towards Neelima and says "maa Maanyata is not opening her eyes".

Upon hearing Anant word's, then ony Neelima comes out of her shocked state and embraces the unconscious body of her daughter and rips off the pallu of her sari and tie it on her forehead.

Neelima while crying says "Anant We have to take Maanyata to the hospital as soon as possible, beta, go and find an Auto rickshaw, I will follow you with Maanyata".

Anant immediately run outside of the house in search of Autorickshaw and Neelima follows him with unconscious Maanyata in her arm. Luckily they got the Autorickshaw at the late night and immediately rushed to near by government hospital.

After 3 hours, when Maanyata regains consciousness, Neelima and Anant meet her and after that Neelima takes such a decision that both her family members and in-laws get shocked. She goes to the police station and complains against Bipin and because of which Bipin gets jailed. infact she demand divorce and after some months she got divorce also.

But after the divorce, it became difficult for Neelima to live in Hugli because her ex in-laws did not leave any stone unturned to make her life hell. Bipin was still in Prison, Every Other Day They Come To Neelima's Parents' House And Create Big Fuss, slowly slowly every relatives of Neelima family started distancing themselves from Neelima parents because according to them Divorcee women has no respect and it will create wrong impact in their daughter, sister and daughter-in-law mind Thanks to their orthodox thinking. Neelima could no longer live in Hugli city because she don't want because of her, her parents suffer more.

So after Anant matriculation examination one day without telling anything to her parents she overnight left Hugli and came to Kolkata and started her new life with her Children's Anant and Maanyata. She had some jewelery which was given to her by her parents at the time of marriage, she sold those jewelery

to rent a house and kitchen equipments and other things, she rented a house which is basically a hall with kitchen in one corner and very small bathroom attached to it with poor roof condition and broken window shield and poor flooring condition. But she's happy atleast she got a roof to live with her children and now Neelima's second mission is to find a job, She was not much educated, only 7th pass so could not get any job in any MNC company. But they say that God never leaves his children hand's and finally she get the job in a nuclear family where both the husband and wife were working person both were doctors Dr. Madhulika Chatterjee and Dr Vinoy Chatterjee, her job was cook c*m caretaker of their children and pay is also good enough for her and her children survival. Neelima enrolled Maanyata in a nearby government school and after some months Anant's Matriculation Result also released and he got 90.33 % the day was the best day for their family especially Neelima Who always wanted that what she could not do, her children should do She wanted them to be educated so that both of them could stand on their feet. And Anant filled his heart with happiness by bringing such a good percentage.

Anant - Maa, only a few years after that my studies will be over and I will start working, after that you will not be able to work, I will give all the happiness of the world to you and Maanyata.

Neelima got happy listening Anant word's and affectionately kissed his forehead.

Time passed and Anant was now in his second year of junior college and he was trying hard to get good percentage and also to get scholarship in good B.Com college and that's what happened he passed again with distinction in his +2 examination and after getting 95.33 in his graduation he got Scholarship for MBA in one of the bestest college of Kolkata. there was no bound of happiness in Neelima face seeing her son achieving his goal one by one, but their happiness are shortlived

One day at the night time coming back from her work Neelima met with an accident near the area where she live, some of the people took her to the hospital and one of the neighbour of Anant informed him. Anant immediately with Maanyata left for hospital. After reaching hospital Doctor informed them very less time is left for Neelima and told them to meet her before she leave this world. Anant and Maanyata getting devasted receiving this news from doctor. they both somehow composed themselves and left to meet Neelima who is in her death bed. Anant and Maanyata enter the hospital room Neelima saw them and says

Neelima - Anant, Maanyata I'm sorry my children I have to left you both like this, Forgive your mother.

"Maa please don"t say like this, you will be fine, you will have to be fine, for yourself for us to see the fulfillment of what you dreamed for both of us. Doctors say anything, you shouldn't pay attention to their words". Anant saud while trying to muffled his cry

while Maanyata who can't able to control herself started crying.

Neelima - Maanyata don't cry bacha.

Then Neemila slowly look towards Anant and says "Turning your face away from the truth does not change the truth. I don't have time beta. Before I stop breathing, I want a promise from you" .

"Take as many promises as you want, but please don't say such things. Anant said while trying to control his tears

Neelima - Anant Now all the responsibility of Maanyata is yours, from today you are not only his brother but also his mother and father. take care of yourself and your sister, keeping her away from every sorrow and trouble, now it is only your responsibility, From now on only you two are each other's family. Promise me you will always stand by your sister side, never let her go through any trouble, promise me.

Anant - I promise, from today from now onwards, will take all the responsibility of Maanyata, I will not let a single drop of tears come in her eyes, I will keep her away from every trouble, for that whatever I have to do I will do anything

Neelima smiled in satisfaction after taking promise from Anant.

Neelima - Maanyata, From today onwards, Anant is not only your brother, your mother, father, family are everything. It was always my prayer to God that the life that was mine should never be given to both of you. Today, even in the last moment of my life, my prayer is that the life that was mine is.......(before she complete further words her breathing stopped)

"Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" Anant and Maanyata they both screamed at a time

It's been one month now Neelima is dead, Anant and Maanyata are the most depressed soul but Anant being the eldest one have to compose himself to take his and her sister responsibility, along with study Anant started taking tuitions and some part time job to earn money. The money Anant earn is very much less than Neelima was been earning but some how they both manage, their room owner is being kind-hearted person don't bugged them for rent when they get late in paying them. But thanks to god Neelima saving in banks is enough to pay Maanyata junior college fees.

Like this 2 years passed away and finally Anant got the job in his college campus placement and today was the result day. Anant was sitting inside the cyber cafe and was very nervous because if he does not pass, then such a good Delhi job will be lost from his hands. Anant is one of the brilliant student of the college and topper of his branch but still due to nervousness many negative things are roaming inside his brain. Anant took deep breath and enter his roll number to check his result and the percentage which flashed infront of him, his eyes started watering seeing the Mark's and percent, he topped in his University. He took out the print out and pay the money to the cyber cafe owner and run outside and went to Temple not before buying Sweets. Anant folded his hand infront of the deity and says.

Anant - Thank you so much God, Wherever mother is today, she will be very happy Seeing what she always dreamt for her children is today coming true.

After praying and thanking god that Anant left from there towards his house happily

Anant runningly with happiness all over his face enter inside his house and says "Maanyata your brother topp... ". but stopped in the middle seeing his little sister lying on the floor and screaming in pain while holding her chest. Anant get panick and run towards her hold her in his arms. he remember the same incident year back when Maanyata was lying on the floor with blood all over the floor, his heart started beating fast.

Anant - Maanyata Maanyata what happened bacha?? are you again feeling pain in your chest ? Don't worry, your bhai is taking you to the hospital right now.

saying this he took her in his arm and speedily move outside of the house.
