Pankhuri came back home and directly went to her room. At evening Tulika came to Pankhuri room with two mugs of coffee and offered her one and Pankhuri immediately took the coffee mug and Started sipping coffee along with Tulika.

After sometime Pankhuri kept the coffee mug on the side table and kept her head on her mother lap and said " maa I am not able to understand anything. I mean Piyush is my good friend and I don't want to break his heart and other side I don't love him, what should I do? you only tell me".

Tulika - Pari, do you know that your Pankaj papa nd I were also friends that too childhood friends. Whenever I need him he's always their for me. Pari when we both got married that time also we are only friends he never pressurized me to accept him as my husband. After marriage we got very less time to spend with eachother, But I am sure if today he was alive and even today we would have been husband and wife, I would have fallen in love with him. no one else can could had been a better husband and friend like him.

Pankhuri look towards her emotional mother and again said "so what do you think about this proposal, maa? should I say yes for this marriage?"

Tulika said while caressing her head " beta do what your heart says".

At Night Piyush words and Tulika words are still roaming inside her mind. After thinking for long time at last she came to the conclusion and called Piyush via phone.

Pankhuri - Hello! Piyush I'm ready for this marriage. I will not lie to you, I really don't love you but I care for you like a friend and I promise you I will uphold our relationship with all sincerity and maybe I can fall in love with you in the future.

Piyush happily say's "thank you thank you thank you so much Pankhuri. You do not know how much I owe to you for saying yes to me for the marriage. I will try my best that I can awaken love for myself in your heart".

Pankhuri smiled listening Piyush words after talking for sometime both cut the call and went to sleep.

Next Day Morning at breakfast Pankhuri announced her decision that she is ready for this alliance. Everyone got really happy listening her except one person that is Shruti. Shruti made some excuses and went to her room and locked the door and started crying.

"I hate you Pankhuri I hate you since you came to my life, you have taken everything away from me and today you snatched my love from me but I will not allow this to happen, I will not let you and Piyush get married". Shruti said with pure venom and determination to separate them

On the other side Piyush also informed about Pankhuri decision to his mom and dad. Raghuveer is happy but Rohini is fuming in anger. When Kishori called Rohini and talked with her in phone and half-heartedly Rohini said that she will call priest to her house and asked for auspicious day for engagement and marriage and they all should came to their house when priest will present. To which Kishori said ok and exchanging few words they both hang off the call. After that Rohini called priest and asked him to come Jindal house at evening. Priest came at evening and Rohini asked for a auspicious date for engagement and marriage Priest told after one week there's an auspicious day to do the engagement and after one month there's an auspicious day to do the marriage. All the Rathi family accept the date but Rohini denied saying this that she has to do a lot of preparations. This is a wedding of her one and only child and one month time is very less for doing all the preparations. But Raghuveer said that every preparations will be done and the time of one month is too much, everything will be arranged within the month.

After One Week :

There is hustle bustle inside Rathi house because today is Pankhuri and Piyush engagement. Pankhuri is getting ready inside her room with the help of Tulika and Shruti. Shruti is boiling in anger seeing her smiling face and Shruti deliberately pierced the safety pin to Pankhuri while making wearing her dupatta.

Pankhuri cried "ouchh.."

Tulika look towards Pankhuri listening her voice.

Tulika - what happened Pari?

Shruti - Actually maa by mistakenly I pierced safety pin to Pankhuri while placing dupatta over her shoulder. I'm sorry Pankhuri.

Pankhuri - it's ok Shruti.

Then only someone knocked at the door, Tulika move towards the door and opened it. The person who is at the door told Tulika that Kishori is calling her to welcome Jindal family who just now arrived. Tulika moved outside of the room to welcome Jindal's.

After some minutes Pankhuri and Piyush is standing at the middle of the hall to exchange rings. Pankhuri forward her hand and Piyush put ring in her finger.

But when Tulika opened ring box to give Pankhuri ring then only she sees that the ring is missing. Everybody comes under tension because of the disappearance of the ring, but two persons were happy in this tension environment and that two persons are none other than Shruti and Rohini. Shruti is smirking seeing all this. While Rohini is hiding her smile from other and pretending like she's also tensed because of disappearance of ring and seeing Shruti time to time.

After searching for sometime when they didn't find the ring . Then Ishwar came forward and gave his ring and asked Pankhuri to put it in the Piyush finger. Like this there engagement got completed. But Shruti smile disappeared from her face when she saw Pankhuri putting ring in Piyush finger. Her eyes were red and moist due to hurt, anger and hatred.

After engagement Pankhuri and Piyush sat in the couch together and all the relatives came one by one and started congratulate them for getting engaged. Piyush leaned towards Pankhuri and whisper something due to which Pankhuri smile and look towards him. Seeing all this Shruti burnt in jealous and angrily marched towards her room and throw the flower vase on the floor in anger. Then only she listened someone voice.

Rohini - why are you venting your anger in this poor vase Shruti ?

Shruti got startled listening Rohini voice and immediately change her facial expression from anger to innocent one.

"What are you saying, Aunty, I am not getting anything". Shruti asked pretending like knowing nothing

Rohini - come on Shruti don't pretend infront of me. I know you are not happy to see Pankhuri and Piyush together. Do you love my son Piyush?

Shruti got shocked listening her words that how she got to know about her feelings towards Piyush.

Shruti - Aunty nothing is like that you are thinking.You have some misunderstanding.

Rohini - oh really I'm misunderstanding.

Saying this she moved towards Shruti and hold the edge of Shruti dupatta (dupatta-stole) and opened the knot and show her Ring. Shruti got nervous and about to say something when again Rohini said.

Rohini - Will you still say that I misunderstood? I saw you Shruti, when hiding from everyone eyes when you took the ring from the ring box, which was brought for Piyush which was kept in the temple and tying it at your dupatta

Shruti got more nervous and started sweating profusely and said while with fumbling words "woh Aunty actually". When Rohini spoke cutting her between her words.

Rohini - You probably don't know Shruti, but I choose you for my son Piyush. But Piyush loved Pankhuri, that is why I did not want to but I have to say yes for this alliance. If your half-sister does not come between you and Piyush, then today my son Piyush would have been engaged to you. But what can we do? I think Piyush and Pankhuri were in each other destiny, so they got engaged today and eventually they will get married too. (She said this last line knowingly to saw Shruti reaction)

Shruti got angry listening about Pankhuri and Piyush marriage and her face turned red due to anger.

Shruti - No, it will never happen, I will never let it happen. Pankhuri has been always snatched everything from me, but I will not let her take my Piyush away from me. Piyush is mine he will always be only mine, I love him and I will never let Pankhuri come between me and Piyush.

Shruti spatted angrily extreme hatred for Pankhuri is clearly visible in her eyes

Rohini smirked internally and spoke "so then snatch away Piyush from Pankhuri and make yours and in that I will also help you. because I also don't want a Bengali girl that too illegitimate girl like Pankhuri to be the daughter-in-law of my house".

Shruti look towards her being amused listening Rohini hateful words for Pankhuri and said "you are also against this marriage? You also don't like Pankhuri?"

Rohini say's angrily" Yes I don't like that girl she's not marwari and also not cultural like you and moreover she's illegitimate. I will never want girl like her become daughter-in-law of mine. That is why we have to do something as soon as possible to stop this marriage, only one month is left for the marriage".

Shruti smiled brightly listening her bad mouthing about Pankhuri and said " don't worry Aunty, whatever I have to do I will do but I will never let Piyush and Pankhuri get married" she said with determination.

Rohini - and every step of separating Pankhuri and Piyush, I will accompany you.

They both look at each other and gave evil smile to eachother.
