Standing meter away from the coffin of his brother, Naizen was just staring at it thinking nothing like he couldn't think of anything. He do not know what to do, he even couldn't understand what he really felt. He was feeling in pain but seem to be angry at the same time.
"Why do I feel like something was not good?" he mumbled himself.
"I felt the same."
He looked back as he heard Ellen's voice. Ellen grew up with him and Harry and when Ellen felt the anger in her heart, he would understand for Harry treated her like their youngest sister.
"I don't like the atmosphere of this place," he directly said as he stared back the thing where his brother remains was placed.
"Harry was one of the important person in the national military. His colleagues are here and we are not used of their presence. They were with him in his last minute fighting for the country," Ellen responded.
However, why does he felt that he wanted to cringe upon hearing Ellen's statement. Why does he felt like that wasn't like that? Maybe because he wasn't able to even see the faces of those people who made his brother lost his life.
Harry's team was always been fighting for the country against terrorism and he was always been successful. It was the first war he was in that brought him home, lifeless. But Naizen's blood being a brother — a family kicked in.
"I don't know what was running in his head when he was in that war, Ellen. I don't know if he knew he will be home in this state. If he do, why didn't he even call me?" he stated without taking his eyes away from the casket of his brother.
The armies are there, taking their position. None of them got a chance to talk to him. Some of his brother's colleague, some of his brothers seems to be friend in the military, tried to talk to him. But he don't feel like talking to them. He don't want to hear any of the words from them.
The grief of his mother added the pain in his heart. How his mother almost lost her own life when she cried a lot and passed out after having an almost heart attack.
"If he did, you'll just out of your own mind and we knew Harry, he would die for you, Naizen," Ellen answered and Naizen didn't like the idea.
"I would also do the same, Ellen! I would also die for him! He was my only brother, how can I just let him die? People called him hero for he died for this f*cking country! Was he really? Dieing in that situation made him a hero? How about us, his family, should we just accept that s**t since people called him hero?" he retaliates whispering but strong.
"I don't know for I only know pain wasn't taken out after he was called hero, Naizen. The only thing I know was that, he would never be happy when he saw how we got eaten by pain," Ellen said trying to lighten up the mood.
He knew she was right. Harry was the first person he would call the smooth one. Among the two of them, Harry was the one who would never let him felt pain.
"Naizen? Ellen?"
The two of them turned to see the man that owned the voice who called their names. Leticia's father surprised their sight the moment they turned their heads.
"Uncle," they said in unison and bowed their heads together.
"Where is Leticia? We haven't seen her since got here," the old man said with his authoritative voice.
"We apologize, uncle. However, we didn't got a chance to see Leticia at this moment," Ellen was the one who answered the old man's question.
Naizen nodded his head when Leticia's father looked at him for confirmation.
"I am sorry for your lost, Naizen. I know how hard is it for you and your parents. However, knowing Harry, I know he would just be guiding you all," the old man said and gave him the tiny smile he know was supposed to be a smile of pain.
"Thank you, uncle. But Leticia, she was also feeling the pain of losing Harry. I am sorry for the pain that your daughter has to go through, uncle. My brother loves her so much, I hope that Leticia would never forget that," he seriously responded.
He saw how his mother grief and cried a river after knowing that his brother lost his life. And he know Leticia, he know how strong she was and it was painful for him seeing Leticia trying to hold her tears and pain to not other people see it. Leticia was with Harry for 10 years now and that is why he also treated her his sister.
He felt like he was carrying all the pain in his shoulder upon seeing his brother's loved ones crying in pain because of his death. He couldn't think how he should accept the fact that he was gone and that everyone was crying because he was gone. Seeing people here in their residence crying a river added the pain he felt in his chest for that was just reminded him the fact that his only brother was gone.
"I know your brother, Naizen," the old man responded. "Harry was the only person I liked and imagined to have my daughter with. I approved everything about Harry and I saw how much he loved Leticia. I know my daughter, I know by this time, she was in pain and no one can bring her out of that. Leticia needs time and peaceful place. Don't worry about her, we, her parents would give a hand and arms to embrace her and bring back the warmth her life had with Harry."
While listening the old man's words, Naizen realized that Harry left the most precious thing in earth. He was loved for he loved people. And suddenly came to the thought that he don't deserve this sudden death. He was just protecting the country, then why the f*ck he went home lifeless?
