"I'm sorry," she awkwardly chuckled and the company just shrugged.
"Let's go, my stomach and my babies are now hungry and seem to be starved. We have to go and eat for lunch," Ellen said and she nodded.
She narrowed her eyes when she realized that Ellen doesn't have anything in her hand. She then looked back unintentionally to see the counter and she couldn't find the items they bought.
"Ahm.. Ellen, by the way, how about the stuffs the we bought? Are we just going to leave them here?" she asked and Ellen turned her head for she was walking in front of her.
Ellen smiled and chuckled, "yes. We're just going to leave it in the baggage counter since we are still not going home yet and probably going back in here. We don't have your shoes and phone, yet."
Her eyes widened when she heard what they were lacking. She was about to argue but Ellen raised her brows that put her back in silent. She sighed and chose to never say anything and all.
"That's good, you stop arguing to something you know you have no match," Ellen teased her and chuckled. Even, gave her a wink.
For the nth and countless time, she sighed and just followed Ellen to wherever they are going to.
"This place is fancy," she said the moment she stepped in her feet inside this restaurant she knew she couldn't afford the single serving of any menu.
"Beauty deserve everything that is fancy," Ellen giggles that made her chuckled as well.
Indeed Ellen is a beauty but she was moving so awkward for she didn't used to this kind of place. She was never get into inside of any restaurants that costs more than how much she earned in a day.
She even couldn't help herself but had her eyes roam around the place. She was seeing not much of a guests and every table has wealthy people. How lucky for this people to have a fancy and luxurious lives.
"I don't deserve to be in here if that so," she mumbled — joked that made Ellen faced palm ang look at her like she was something of a joke.
"Please, stop underestimating your beauty. I don't want to give you the attention for you are so much of a head turner. If I had a boyfriend and you happen to pass by, I know for fact that I would probably curse, kill and murder you," Ellen responded rolling her eyes while crossing her arms in her chest. Damn!
She gaped with that answer for she never expected to hear such kind of words from Ellen. She knew Ellen didn't like her and was just accompanying her because of Naizen. Whatever the type of relationship these two have, that probably was nothing of a shallow.
She wished she have that relationship.
She was living her life with no girls around her. When her mom died, she never had a chance to meet and be with any girls. She spent her whole life around men.
"Are you okay?"
She blinked when she felt Ellen tapped her shoulder. She looked at Ellen and met the questioning eyes of the company. She smiled a little and nodded.
"I — I'm sorry, of course, don't worry, I'm okay," she answered smiling and tried so hard to never meet Ellen's eyes who's not even moving an inch to see other things around.
"Are you sure? You know, I have noticed you earlier that you really do like you are bothered of something," Ellen stated and was looking at her with so much curiosity.
"I'm fine," she responded and smiled a little. But seeing Ellen, she seems not believing her saying she was okay. She then sighed, "it's just that, I still couldn't believe that finally I am out of the Herria. I am free, for a long time that I was one of the Herria's people praying for our safety, our lives, now I can roam around the bigger place with no fear within me. The terrorists surprised us big-time and they didn't allow anyone to get out of the town."
Ellen was attentively listening while she was telling a story.
"Hold on, I'm sorry to interrupt you but we need to order now. I forgot for I got so attached to hear some more," Ellen said and immediately called the waiter who are standing in the side, obviously waiting for them to call him.
"Is that all ma'am?" the waiter asked after they finally gave him their orders. Yvonne was holding back to order some in the menu for she almost choke her own saliva after seeing the prices.
"Yes. How about you, Yvonne? Are you good?" Ellen asked and she nodded. "Alright, everything's good. Thank you."
"Please give us a few minutes, ma'am."
They both nodded in unison after the waiter asked permission to leave.
"Going back to your story, does Naizen knows about that? I mean, I don't think you need to tell him each detail but I think he deserves to know a little information about you and about where you came from."
She looked at Ellen and smiled then nodded, "I won't keep any information about to Naizen. That would be my thank to him that he didn't had a second thought of helping me despite of the fact that he doesn't know me. I am so thankful with you and Hector as well. You could've surrendered me in the authority which you guys supposed to do. But I was so greatful that you are so much brave to keep be behind their eyes and let me live free and safe."
"I actually wasn't okay with Naizen's decision of keeping you. It was against the protocol and I don't know what the heck was his reason that day. But now, I just couldn't do anything about it now. He want to keep you alive and the only thing that atleast I can do with him was to help him and all," Ellen was so serious with her narrative and Yvonne didn't even argued with it.
"I couldn't imagine what the heck was possibly happen to me when Naizen surrendered me to the authority," she responded.
"Just don't break Naizen's trust Yvonne. Naizen was the nicest person you could ever met," Ellen said and she nodded in understanding.
