DROWNING DESTINY

Chapter 24

"I know for sure that you two would make a very beautiful couple," she munbled killing the silence and that made Ellen looked at her with that huge smile in her face.

They were busy getting more stuffs for her after the long silence filled between the two of them with Ellen, when Ellen spilled out that she and Naizen was inlove with each other.

"Really?" Ellen laughed. "You have that good pair of an eye. Unfortunately, Naizen and I, we will never become a couple," she burst into laughter after imagining of her being with Naizen in a romantic nor intimate encounter. She grimaced.

"What? I don't understand," Yvonne curiously asked with her eyes narrowed together while choosing whatever she may like in this hanged dress.

For no reason, Yvonne suddenly like hearing and knowing Naizen's life. She was so curious what are these people do in their lives aside from being an officer of the military force.

"Yvonne, I suggest you to never ask some questions about Naizen's life. I will answer some of your question but for the others, I will not. I want you to take your eyes on it, if you want to know about everything," Ellen answered and turned her back at her.

She bit her lower lip in embarrassment for something. Ellen and Naizen, they weren't leaving in her mind so soon and she was thinking a lot about them both. Well, they look good with each other. And as for Ellen, they were inlove with each other and the othe thing that bothers her was, why would they never be a couple?

"I think, I am good with this," she said showing to Ellen everything she has in her hand.

"That wasn't enough, Yvonne. You should pick some more. Naizen told me to give you everything that you need for this will be the first and last time that he'll allow you to shop like this," Ellen responded and took all the dresses she chose from her hand and put them in their cart.

"I think, these are too much. I wouldn't be able to pay them all," she answered and Ellen just shrugged her shoulder before dragging her into the swimming attire section.

"I don't know you size, but I guess you are sexy as hell. Come on, choose your bet and after this, we will be having lunch before we are going to other boutique for your shoes." She heard Ellen said.

She glances at Ellen and she was busy of whatever she was doing with her phone. Yvonne felt like she was a loser that needs to follow Ellen's words in here. Well, she has no one to go for now and she promised to pay every penny and leave nothing of a debt.

Yvonne sighed and took that two pairs of a swim wear without checking if it would fit on her. She even had no idea if she would like having this kind of clothes that only covered her body. She never tried it.

She was always wearing the polo blouse tucked-in in her pants, sneakers and jacket. That was her usual everyday get up plus, she was never had a chance to be in the sea for enjoyment nor to that called swimming pool.

She just stood right next to the cart waiting for Ellen to finish her own business so that both of them can get the hell out of here. Her eyes widened after hearing her stomach growl like sh*t! She didn't take any meal this day and she only had coffee.

She immediately roam her eyes around to check of somebody heard her stomach and luckily there was no one near her.

"Damn, it! Why can't this wait to get out of this place?" she mumbled herself and immediately shifted to smile when she spotted Ellen looking at her now.

"So, are you done?" Ellen asked her with a smile in her face.

Yvonne glances to the cart that was full of clothes and immediately nodded. "I honestly havw no idea where to use some of the clothes right here. I mean, I really don't think I need them."

"Yvonne, there are times that comes in we always never expect. You will be needing all of these and since you are done, let's bring this cart to the counter, we'll pay and get lunch. I'm pretty hungry," Ellen chucked and immediately took the cart's handle and pushe dit herself.

Yvonne sighed deeply and just followed Ellen for she seems she can't do anything about it. Ellen took it over. It wasn't her shopping spree but Ellen's shopping spree for her.

She was just roaming her eyes around the people that are busy having their eyes on everything, checking every details of it. She smiled bitterly while looking at these people who don't seem to have a problem to any of the prices in here.

She then looked back to her life at Herria. She even couldn't afford a single tee that costs more that 5 penny. She was one of the poorest of the poor and that's it.

"Alright! We are all done!"

She almost jump in startle after Ellen wrapped her arm around her shoulder and she didn't felt that coming.

"Gosh! I know you do belong in the military force but I never thought you had the ability of a ninja," she retaliates, putting her palm in her chest to feel the faster beat of it because of shockness.

"You were just out of your mind. I called you not less than 10 times but you seem occupied and so yeah," Ellen responded that shut her up.

She was looking at her life way back in Herria and that was 2 days ago. 2 days ago, she had the chance to get out from here. Whatever the reason that brought her in that battle's premises, she will always and forever be thankful of that.

Because from now on, she can now think of a alternative to have her life more different from before. She was locked to where she was before, couldn't move on her own and only allowed to follow in one certain command.
