"Thank you so much for letting me stay on your home despite the fact that you also have no idea who the I am," she seriously said. Naizen looked at her and her eyes twinkled in this crystal like tears that immediately came out from her eyes. "H-hey, i-is there something wrong?" He panicked the moment he spotted her eyes. Yvonne smiled and even chuckled a little. She shoke her head before looking straight to Naizen. "Nothing, I was just so overwhelmed that I the Lord have given me the second chance to live," she answered. "When that unknown man brought me somewhere, I thought that was the end of me, specially when he just pushed me from the top of that mountain. He wanted me dead." Naizen stopped chewing upon hearing those. His eyes narrowed and he immediately seemed to be curious and interested to hear more about her story. "Why did he took you out from your home?" he asked in his low tone. Yvonne shoke her head in him, "not from my home. He took me out from that grocery store, he told me he want me, he needs me and I have no idea for what. I was fighting to lost in his grip and when the gunshots around the woodland started, he panicked and without a second he pushed me all the way down." "Do you happen to see his face?" Naizen asked with much interest. For some reason, he wanted to know who the f*ck was that old man that threatened an innocent woman. Yvonne was innocent and she couldn't do anything against him. Yet, he causes trauma for Yvonne. "I didn't, he was wearing a mask that covered his entire head. He was only showing his eyes and his mouth. I just know he was old man on the way of how he talks, and he moves," Yvonne explained. The way she looked at Naizen, Naizen can immediately find the fear in her eyes. "If that so, you really need to stay in here," he responded in his voice that was full of authority. "I can't pay your kindness yet. I don't have anything with me. I came from ----" "Don't think about that yet, Yvonne. I won't ask you to leave my house until you find yourself a job that would help you for your daily needs. Finish your foods so you can go and rest," Naizen announced and stood up. "Are you done?" Yvonne narrowed her eyes when asking. Gone the foods he put in his plate but there was still a lot of foods and she was full as f*ck. "I am, I don't eat much plus, I am good," he answered. She panicked as she heard that, she immediately stood up and put the spoon and fork down. "I'm done," she mumbled. "You don't have to stand up. I am really full and ---" "No, I have eaten a lot and I couldn't handle some more," she cut him off and smiled awkwardly. She then fix the table and out their plates in the sink. "How about these left overs?" "I can take of this, Yvonne. Go upstairs and take a rest, you take the room in the right, go now," Naizen commanded but she shoke her head in disagreement. "Please let me take care of this. The rest that I can do with your help and kindness in me," she smiled responding him. Naizen felt defeated. He sighed deeply and just nodde for he seemed that he can no longer do anything. "I'll get a containers for that, please put them in the fridge. Thank you," he surrendered and just allowed her to do what she wanted to do. "Alright, sir!" she joked and chuckled a little. Naizen cracked a smile and all. He nodded at her and took his phone out from his pocket. He immediately take a distance with him and called Ellen. ("Naizen, I guess you have known the time and please listen, I am tired. I need a complete and undisturbed beauty rest,") Ellen accepted his call with no 'hello'. "Stop being a p***y Ellen. I called you to ask you to accompany Yvonne tomorrow to get her stuffs at the mall," he said like he was talking to his assistant or so. ("What?!") He can feel that Ellen immediately get up from laying in her bed. Her tone and her diction could explain it all. He shrugged as if Ellen can even see her. "Yes. Mom called and asked me to be home for she knew that we were given a free days to rest," he answered. ("And you were brutally thinking that my mother would never give me attention and would never ask me to go home to see if none of my 10 fingers were gone,") she retaliates from the other line. Naizen grimaced and went faced palm with Ellen's nonstop of a mind and a mouth. She was always like this, as if she would say no at the end. She would even say no to his requests. "Come on, don't put words in my mouth and in my mind. I didn't even came that far, I know you have a b*tch of a mother but hey, she still your mother," he responded despite the fact that he was talking to Ellen over the phone. He can feel how much of a round she did for rolling her eyes because of it. "Oh.. please, people should really naturalized cutting off relationship with toxic parents and stop promoting the word he or she still your parents, your family. Like sh*t! By the way, what time should I pick Yvonne in your house?" He smirked with her respond. He knew it from the start of her banter, he knew for fact that this would be the end of their conversation. "At lunch?" He answered with no specific time for he didn't talk Yvonne yet. ("Nize, are you really sure you'd allow her to stay in your place? And you're going to spend a thousands from your own pocket to buy her her stuffs? Don't get me wrong, but you barely know her. We just knew her name,") Ellen immediately turned serious this time and Naizen got her point. She actually has the point but Naizen also was asking himself that. He couldn't understand why all of a sudden he allowed anyone in here. This was the place he called his private Haven and he never allowed anyone aside from Ellen and Hector in here. His parents didn't even know — well, he wasn't sure if they really had no idea he got his own place like a house. They knew he got his own place like a condo unit in one of his parent's building. "She needs help, Ellen. She have no one in here plus she seems okay, you will surely get fond of here. She will be gone in my house once she find herself a job that would support her in her daily expenses and a place to stay." Yvonne smiled when she heard Naizen's words. She couldn't hear whoever he was talking with said or anything. She didn't mean to eavesdrop but when she realized she was the main topic she stopped and hid herself in the divider of a wall. She then turned her back at Naizen's back. She haven't heard the beginning of the conversation the man had, she only heard that last and she came to think that it wasn't really good to listen other people's conversation. She then pulled out the chair in the dining and she sat her ass down in there. Her mind was roaming into things that a blurred in her. What kind of life she will be getting in here? Was she even safe here? If Naizen was having a second thought of letting her stay in here, she was also having this feeling. It's just that, she had no choice.
