She didn't mind and didn't waste the time for she had no idea how long he will be in his phone. Yvonne started digging in all the foods prepared in front of her. She had never tried having this kind of foods, she even had no idea what the heck this called.
She was busy eating and wasn't aware that she almost finished everything until she was about to pick up the last chicken leg. She gasped when she realized she had everything of a chicken leg bones beside her plate and Naizen wasn't here yet.
"Oh gosh! What am I going to do?" she panicked. She immediately stood up to check the paper bag that Naizen placed in the kitchen, hoping that there was still left in there.
Her shoulder fell when she saw nothing. "Oh my God! Why the f*ck I finished everything?" she mumbled herself. Her eyes widened when she spotted the chicken leg she was still holding. She immediately put it back to the plate and once again saw the 3 plates with nothing on it.
She almost jumped in startle the moment the door bell rang. From the dining, she couldn't see the main door, so she walked in her tiptoe to sneak out who the f*ck just came.
Yvonne's eyes narrowed after seeing Naizen went out from the door and went back inside with a paper bag in in hands. The paper bag with a print on it was so familiar and she even had to check the paper bag here in the kitchen. Her eyes widened after realizing it was similar to the paper bag that has foods.
"Was there a chance that he saw me finished all the foods?" she mumbled shyly that she would want to get melted right here, right now.
She turned her back when she heard some footsteps coming in the kitchen.
"You don't have to turn your back at me. Don't worry, I ordered some," she grimaced after hearing the man's words.
Damn! How could she even look at him with no awkwardness after what happened? He will surely think she was someone like a dead hungry. Oh no.
"A-i... I'm sorry,"she mumbled and slowly turned her back to see Naizen. "I swear, I didn't know that I ate everything, I was just enjoying for it was the first time that I got to eat this kind of cooked food."
She was looking down to her feet while playing the belt of the dress she was wearing. Well, she was saying fatcs. She even had never seen this kind of food, she was just really enjoying.
"What do you mean?" Naizen was narrowing his eyes while fixing the food he was putting in the bowl.
He was trying to think what kind of food Yvonne was eating at their home when it was the first time she got to taste this kind of food. Although, this came from the restaurant that they also called a five star restaurant but some people do cooked like this at home.
"We couldn't afford fancy things, even foods. In my entire life, I was eating exotic foods and vegetables," she awkwardly admitted while remembering how excited she was everytime they got the so called exotic like, frogs, snake and all.
"Why?" Naizen curiously asked. He lifted up his head and saw Yvonne bowing her head and playing the belt of her dress with her hand. "Please sit down, let's continue eating. I know you are done yet."
Her eyes widened after realizing Naizen's words. She then looked at her plate and he was indeed correct. She still had her foods in there and the chicken leg was still in her hand. Sh*t! What kind of embarrassment she was trying to experience for herself.
She smiled awkwardly and immediately put back the chicken leg into the plate.
"A-I'm sorry, I d-didn't realize I was holding it," she said trying to manage her words that was also stuttering.
"No problem," he responded and just gave her a smile. "Have a sit, the night is getting late, we have to take a rest for I was f*cking tired. Tomorrow, we will talk and I will bring you home."
Yvonne's stunned for a moment and her eyes immediately went emotionless. She looked at Naizen eating and he seem not kidding.
*"Home? I don't have a home."* she thought.
"Ahm, a-I don't have a home," she bravely speak out that made Naizen stopped chewing the food he has in his mouth and looked at her with confusion. "I have my tiny house at Herria and I was alone."
She didn't wait him to asked why and he personally explained the reason. This City had huge buildings all the way, the clean highway, the best view of the road and that was so total opposite of Herria.
"I thought you were just working in a small grocery store in Herria? You are also a permanent resident?" Naizen asked and he sounded like something that needs to be answered.
Yvonne nodded her head, "yes, I was born and raised in Herria. This was also the first time that I got a chance to get out of there," she answered, holding herself to never stutter.
Well, she obviously don't look like someone of a damsel in distress. She obviously looked like someone who can take care of herself. But Naizen being a son of a mother who have a heart for a needy, he felt bad when he was thing before that he would or maybe just drop her somewhere and just let her go wherever she desires.
"Oh." He responded for he don't know what to say.
Yvonne was simply glancing at Naizen, she bit her lower lip while thinking things that she would want to say.
"Don't worry, tomorrow, I will find myself a place to stay in here," she said smiling like an i***t for her chest was like thumping. She didn't even know a place in here, she would she go if Naizen will kick her out of here.
She couldn't insist staying in here for that was a shame for her. He already had saved her life in that woodland and even take a risk to bring her out of Herria. Who knows what would happen in him when his Captain found out that he was sneaking other people and not part of the team inside their fighting vehicle.
"No," he immediately responded that made the both of them looked at each other. She narrowed her eyes looking at Naizen, "I mean, you don't have to. I thought you have a place to stay and I was willing to bring you there. I'm sorry."
"No, you don't have to say sorry. I was the one who disturbed you here at your own place. Maybe you can just drop me somewhere I can find my own place. I can take care of myself," she said straightforward.
"You can stay here for how long that you want," he said and he was also shocked why the f*ck his tongue really did say that.
Yvonne's eyes widened in disbelief.
"Wa-what? But..."
And he guess, he can no longer turn the table and take back what he just said. The woman has no place to stay and it would be a guilt of him when something bad would happen to her outside.
"No buts, Yvonne. You don't have anything with no, not even a penny. You couldn't fine a place to stay. Don't worry, I will not be here 24/7 for I barely came and live in here. Ellen, Hector and I, we will be visiting you once we have free time," he said trying to fo figure out things that he was mumbling.
Her even not so sure of what he just mumbled.
