Jesse

I married when I was 17. Imogene and I had been neighbors and friends for most of my life. Our marriage arrangement was settled the first time we met. We always went to affairs together. We always took lessons together. I knew nothing else until after I was a vampire. But while we were human we produced two boys. One taking my name in full. Jesse Lukas Ralston, the other after her father who passed just before our first born was welcomed. Elliot Daniel Ralston. My youngest was only 17 when we all were changed into vampires. My oldest was 21, about to be married off. We stuck together for nearly 250 years before we started to break apart. At 300, Imogene finally wanted to leave as well. I had been fighting my attraction to other men since my turning, and while I still loved her as my friend and wife, she knew I would never be in love with her. So with all of us getting too much of family for the first 300 we barely came together in the next 700.  And yet, something was bringing them all to my doorstep within a week almost dead. Someone was sending the wrong person the wrong message.
