Am I in an inverted universe or has Jace really just apologised? How can he be so nice when he was always so mean to me and insulted me? I guess he really feels guilty and sorry for hurting me.
“Thanks for the food.” I tell him when we finish eating and he cleans up after us.
“No problem, do you want me to stay with you a bit longer?” He asks with a charming smile that almost melts my heart.
“If you can.” I tell him. I really want him to stay but I don’t want to seem desperate.
“Of course I can.” He says, still smiling and making himself comfortable on the end of my bed. “Kyra?” He looks bothered so I am curious about what he wants to say.
