“Gosh! I am so anxious. I only wonder what Diana might be doing right now. Do you think, she would be eating the most expensive sushi or something entire exotic at a three start Michelin restaurant?” Polly asked from her mother, who shrugged.
“I hope so.”
She filled her plate with food and passed the filled dish on to Tony, who stayed back for dinner while Gloria left for her house, since she had kids and a husband to take care of.
“I doubt that.” Tony commented, making both Emily and Polly look at him with sheer curiosity.
“How could you be so sure? You sounded quite confident.” Polly asked with intrigue and Tony shimmied with confidence.
“Guys like Adrian want to leave a deep imprint of girls like Diana. I doubt he took her to some sort of peaceful and quiet place for a romantic picnic that he had all planned out for her.”
As both Tony and Polly weighed in their options about where Adrian may take Diana to, both of the two had weighed in the wrong options as Adrian’s plan were something entire different.
He took Diana towards his penthouse building, where he parked the car in the basement and took Diana out and guided her towards the elevator.
Getting inside the elevator, Diana noticed that he pressed the top most button and she only wondered what the were up to.
The car ride was mostly viciously silent and given to the awkward acts that Adrian carried out at the beginning, Diana had somehow started to feel anxious and it was making her feel heated and sweat profusely.
She tried her best to calm her nerves down but the way Adrian drove made her feel even more nervous.
She remained quiet and so did Adrian but once they entered the parking of the building, she felt a little calm.
She wondered what kind of commercial building was so quiet and had that much of open and free parking space, since she had no idea that Adrian had brought her to his residence.
Adrian had deliberately selected the spot for the date, since it was closer to his house and he believed that by the end of the night, it would be easier for him to take things to the bedroom as he planned to make them.
After around a two minutes ride up, the elevator finally halted at the top most floor.
As it opened away and Diana expected to see the views of a busy and bustling crowd, she was stunned to find herself standing in front of nothingness.
Adrian was the first one to walk out and he offered his hand for Diana to take, who knew that she had no other option at that point either.
She took his hand and walked out along with him, as he brought her on to a roof top area. Open air, beautiful glistening and twinkling yellow lights garlanded along the square boundaries of the roof top and even running over the top, with fresh green leaves mixed with white lilies and roses decorated along to make it look like flowers and stars were raining down upon Adrian and Diana.
She couldn’t help but admire the entire set up in sheer awe.
Her mouth was slightly left open in awestruck as she looked at the whole setting around her and admired the beauty like a little lost kid, who had entered in to paradise.
Adrian let go off her hand and watched in amusement as Diana’s face looked brighter than ever and the way she admired all the small things, from the little fountained placed at the corner most section of the place, surrounded by downwardly running leaves and even more white roses, to the a small white bench placed at the alternative corner from the fountain, surrounded by large pot plants and Babylonic garden themed trees.
“This is beautiful.” She commented and Adrian couldn’t help but smile back at her.
“I am glad you liked it.” he admitted with a soft smile.
“Like it? I loved it. everything is perfect. Gosh! Please tell me this is some sort of themes exotic place and you rented it out?” she inquired and Adrian shook his head back at her.
“I had the whole place decorated. They made it within a span of few hours.”
Diana gasped, as she came to learn the truth and Jared who heard their entire conversation through Adrian’s earpiece couldn’t help but feel happy that Diana liked what she saw, since he was the one who had the whole theme planned and decorated.
When Adrian told him all the things that Diana liked, that Adrian had learned through Polly, Jared knew just the right thing to do, to make Diana feel happy and seen.
He realized that she was a easy going, low maintenance, happy with sheer attentive efforts kind of girl. That’s why he decided to plan something where she would feel valued. He called in some of his contacts and with them, he decorated and set up the whole event.
“Now boss, repeat after me.” He guided Adrian and began feeding the information about all the set up in his ears that Adrian quoted out to Diana.
“These flowers around the bench are themed and styled in a Babylonic way! The small steps that you see around the bench are built and hurdled with small leaves and bushed popping out of it, to make it look just like those from the ancient mythological times. And that fountain over there…”
“They mirror the Italian districts with the beautiful brick structures and moss reflecting leaves placed around them?” Diana added, excited like a baby as she ran towards the fountain and admired it from up and close.
Adrian was rendered surprised to see how much well cultured Diana was. She wasn’t the way he was expecting her to be.
He thought that she would be devoid from the astute understanding of things that were above and beyond her scope of life. And he was quite amazed to find out just how culturally and philosophically inclined she was.
Jared on the other hand, wasn’t surprised but happy that Diana recognized his efforts and understood him and his choices, resonating with him on a equal spectrum.
Diana stood closer to the fountain, with lights reflecting from the surface of the water on to her face, she gleamed in awe and looked down at the flowing water, that sparkled in a rhythmic manner and flew out and down from the jet pressures.
“These are so beautiful.” She murmured lowly and Adrian came to stand right behind her.
“How about we have our dinner first? I am starving.” He told her and Diana turned around and nodded at him.
He offered his hand for her to take and she did just so. he guided her towards the very center of the roof where a small gazebo styled glass shed with thick wooden structure was designed, covered with soft white satin clothes that were curtained down from the dome shaped sharp roof of the gazebo and flew downwards but were drawn back and on the sides, to keep the view open from both side of the gazebo for entrance and smooth exit.
Right in the middle of the gazebo was set up a small table with white silk cloth placed on it, along with long stem glasses and a champagne, topped in an ice bucket. A lone and long candle stand with a dimly burning candle was placed a little further from the champagne but in the very middle of the table. As Diana stepped inside the platform of the Gazebo, she was rendered sheerly surprised to notice small twinkling lights placed along the length of the cloth that was encircling the entire structure of the gazebo.
Small round candles were placed on the platform of the hut in a circular fashion along the entire round structure of the gazebo.
Adrian guided her towards the table and pulled a chair back for her, which Diana took gladly and sat down, placing her small hand clutch on the table in front of her and Adrian also went ahead and took his seat, sitting right across the small round table from Diana.
The small shimmer and glitter that she planted around her eyes, did made her face gleam and stand out, making her look soft and shiny and it once again made Adrian wonder, if she was really a master at doing her makeup but then again, she didn’t look so different from the the other times when he had seen her without any makeup.
As Adrian sat admiring Diana’s beauty, so did Jared, who watched through one of the cameras hidden in the flowers that were set up around the gazebo.
Wow! She is beautiful.
He commented mentally and both Adrian and Jared were snapped out of their trances when the team of waiters who were hosting Diana and Adrian for the night, walked out from a different door than the elevator and brought out trays of food along with them.
“Good evening Mr. Sarmiento and welcome Ms. Sanchez. We would be your host for the night. Our teams of chefs have prepared an exquisite and exclusively extensive sets of different cuisines for you, which one would you like to have?”
“So? what are you in the mood of? English? Italian? Continental? Pan Asian?” Adrian asked from Diana, who gulped hard at the options provided to her.
Her eyes widened in surprised, as she realized that Adrian might be overdoing things a little.
“Hmm… I guess Italian would suffice?” she asked and Adrian nodded at her and gestured at the waiter to present them with the first dish that would be Italian.
“Very well, perfect choice! Our chefs today have prepared a perfect blend of parmesan and spices that are specifically extracted from the gardens of Tuscany.”
The waiter gave a little description of what the chefs had in the kitchen prepared for their guests and as they presented the first appetizers and took the rest of the dishes back with them.
As Diana was about to eat, a female waiter stepped ahead and called her out.
“Ma’am would you like for me to take your coat? So that you would be more comfortable as you eat?” she inquired and Adrian noticed for the first time that they had placed special heaters on the roof so that Diana wouldn’t be so cold and as a waiter requested for his jacket, he took it off and gave it to the waiter, revealing the tight black formal shirt that he wore underneath his coat.
It was also the first time that Diana was noticing his attire. He went in for an all black look. A black blazer, black formal shirt, leaving the top few buttons open and as he sat down, he took off the studs from his cufflinks and moved his cuffs up till his elbows.
As he flexed his arms and moved them up and down, Diana noticed just how bulked up he was.
He used to be quite lean, doesn’t he?
She wondered as he noticed his biceps bulging against the sleeves of his shirt.
She felt water accumulating in her mouth.
Am I thirsty?
She wondered as she immeditaley took the sip out of the bottle placed next t o her but her eyes couldn’t bulged off the way Adrian’s muscles popped and tightened against his shirt.
Diana immediately looked away, not wanting to look like a wanton, when Adrian would look at her.
“Ma’am your coat?” asked the waitress again and she contemplated her choices.
She did feel warm, if she was being honest but the dress that she wore and the one that her aunt bought her was not something she would be comfortable sitting in, in front of Adrian.
“It’s fine! you can give them your coat. They will bring it back to you when we would be leaving.” Adrian told Diana.
“Umm… but… I mean, I do feel a little cold.” She began rubbing her arms and Adrian squinted his eyes around her hairlines, where he could feel and see literal beads of sweat formed on her forehead.
“But you look like you are warm.” He stated, pointing towards her forehead and as Diana touched her forehead, she felt embarrassed that she was caught in the midst of lying.
“Umm… oh that… I get sweaty when I feel cold. Haven’t you heard about condensation?” she told Adrian, who being a little short on science with the subject being his weakness felt confused by Diana’s words.
“Okay, I guess…?” he shrugged it off, finding Diana to be actially too smart for her own good.
“Ma’am it’s fine! we will increase the heaters and the temperate around here for you. you can give your coat to us.”
The waiter insisted and Diana couldn’t help but feel agitated by her constantly pressing tone.
Gosh! Does she want to run away with my coat.
Having no other option and knowing that it would be weird if she ate with her coat own, Diana finally got up and began removing her coat off.
Adrian felt his phone buzzed and he took it out to see an important email from work. He opened it up and began scrolling through his phone to see the email and at the same time Diana took off her coat and passed it to the waitress.
Adrian’s eyes shifted slightly from the phone towards Diana and his eyes froze on her. it felt to him that he wasn’t even in charge of his eyes, in fact, his whole body was out of his control.
he was lost and completely struck by the beauty that he saw in front of him.
Diana wore a light powder pink ruched mess dress, that ended somewhere in the middle of her thighs, or maybe slightly above but it clung and hug her body perfectly. It had soft and light strap that held the dress up on her body and at the same time, the neck and the back both ran parallel and deep, revealing the crescent of her cleavage quite evidently, that were held up by the strapless b*a that Diana’s Aunt had specifically gotten her to match with the dress.
Adrian placed his phone aside and continued studying Diana’s figure.
The way the dress revealed each and every inch of her body was something beyond soporific in fact no – it was not soporific but instead sporadic – something that would invigorate the deepest desires within a dead man’s body.
The dress accentuated her curves perfectly well. Her figure was like an ocean body, waving in every perfect aspect and just from where it should be up and high.
Her breasts, were moldy and heavy and her tummy only slightly, very little bulging out but just enough to attract any man, to run his hands through it. her waist low from above and wide from her hips and as Diana turned around to hand over the coat to the waitress, her back matched her body and complemented her as an ancient Greek goddess, from those mythological chronicles.
As she turned sideways, to pull her chair back and sit, Adrian once again gawked her figure from a different angle and he couldn’t find a single flaw in her.
She was perfect in every physical sense. She had everything that would make women envious and men go to war for.
Adrian believed that Diana was a true trophy worth striving for – so why was she still single?
He wondered but then he remembered Polly’s words. She wouldn’t let Kevin – her ex boyfriend have s*x with her. and it would truly be a punishment for a man to have something this beautiful and not being able to devour it to the fullest.
As Diana sat down and this time it was Adrain who was flushed, he began gulping down water from the bottle placed in front of him and finished it down in a single go.
But Adrian wasn’t the only one mesmerized by Diana’s beauty.
Jared who saw live footage of Diana via the camera hidden in the flowers right behind Adrian was left in wonderstruck. Even he had not imagined that Diana would turn out to be this pretty underneath all the oversized dresses and clothes that she wore.
Adrian cleared his throat as he straightened up and Diana also moved and brought some of her hair to the front, trying her best to hide her pushed up breasts and the cleavage that remained obvious to the front.
“My Aunt, chose this dress for me. I usually don’t dress like this…” she stated, trying to make Adrian comprehend that she always didn’t dress like a s**t.
“You should!” he stated inadvertently, making Diana look at him in confusion. Adrian himself was rendered confused because it just wasn’t his own tongue that had said it, just as he said those words, he could hear the same words echo in his ear and Jared stating the same thing. He decided to blame it on the i***t Jared for feeding those words to him and believed that it wasn’t him but Jared, who was making him say such words.
“Huh?” she stated bewildered by his words.
“I meant that you look beautiful.” He let those words slip out his mouth and hit Diana right in her chest, melting her right away. She gulped hard and felt blush creep in to her cheeks. She hadn’t applied much heavy makeup and had previously only applied very light blush but she guessed that Adrian’s compliments and his adamant statements that he just made right off the bat were going to do the trick and make her continue feeling shy and embarrassed.
She could feel her ears turning red as well. She immediately removed her hair that she had stuck behind her ears and brought them to the front, even hiding her cheeks behind them.
“Shall we begin?” Adrian told Diana, who nodded and at the same time the two dug in to their plates, continuing to eat in silence, until a music band that Jared book, walked out and began playing closer to the fountain.
Once Diana was finished with her plate and the waiters came in cleaning up the plate to present with the entrée, Diana got up and out of the gazebo and stood in front of the band, watching them play the soft music, making the entire environment even more aesthetically pleasing.
Adrian also got out of the gazebo and followed Diana out, coming in to stand right behind her.
He noticed that the way she walk was very careful and light. She kept her weight all on her toes and tried her best to not make much sound with her heels. It showed that she was still careful and treaded softly, making him wonder if she only walked like so, because she had to be this way, careful and invisible around her father and his wife.
She smiled as she hummed along the soft melody to the Celine Dion song that the band played and Adrian asked, coming to stand next to Diana.
“You know this song?”
She nodded back at him.
“One my favorites. I used to practice to this melody in beauty school. They ask us to practice work in a fast paced environment and as a test they would play loud music. I would initially have difficulty focusing, so I would always practice alone listening to this melody and when they would play the loud music during the test, in my mind I would be humming to this music.”
She explained her attachment to the song and then turned towards Adrian.
“But how did you know that I like this song?”
Adrian shrugged at her, “Just a wild guess?” he offered and Diana turned around.
“You seem to know a lot about me and my choices.” She offered and Adrian scratched the back of his neck.
“Not really, most of these things are what I find to be pleasant.” He stated and Diana shook her head.
“I doubt that!” she squinted her eyes low and turned towards Adrian.
“You knew my address, you knew where I worked and showed up at the salon and then at the house. You just know a lot of things. I know how things work around the Sarmiento Corporations. Don’t forget that I stayed close to you guys for a good amount of my life. I studied you guys well.” She squinted with a smirk, suggesting that she wasn’t as thick or oblivious as Adrian would consider her to be and that she was quite the quick witted person that Adrian didn’t expect her to be at all.
“But I didn’t know you that well enough. I never could.” He stated lowly, making Diana snap her neck towards him.
“Huh? What do you mean?” she asked and Adrian bit his tongue and held his words back.
His heart felt shaken remembering the words that Polly had just told him regarding the a***e that Diana suffered at the hands of her father and his wife and while she studied Adrian closely and noticed his moves, his family and everything else around him, Adrian remained thick and senseless not even having basic and simply empathy and turned an blind eye towards her scars.
Acknowledging the fact that she was abused and hid it from the world, Adrian never revealed that part of her to even Jared and kept it to his own self and only told about Diana’s likes and dislikes so that he could prepare the date accordingly.
“I mean that you were a stalker back then…” Adrian laughed it off and Diana only rolled her eyes back at him and began admiring the music band.
“Now you have become the stalker?” she asked and Adrian chimed back at her.
“You know the music is bland if there isn’t anyone dancing to it?” the leader of the band suggested and Adrian decided to to offer his hand for Diana to take.
She looked at his hand for a second, before she giggled and began dancing along with him.
Adrian gently placed his arm around Diana’s back and began swirling her around slowly, while he held his other hand and placed it aside and with her other remaining hand Diana only held on to Adrian’s shoulder for support.
The two turned and swirled around the small floor in front of the band, with Adrian breaking away the contact of their bodies and only turned and twisted Diana around, making her rotated and crash her back right in to his chest.
Diana couldn’t help but giggle a little and as she laughed and smiled with her heart full Adrian felt something inside his quiver.
A few strands of her hair escaped to her face and very gently her pushed those strands away from her beautiful face, wanting to look and gawk at her to his fullest.
He turned her around and brought her to face him straight and looked deep in to her hazel eyes.
There was a shift in color of her eyes, they weren’t perfectly brown or green. There was a moment when her eyes would shift to look light green and then light brown.
Diana felt confused and startled as Adrian stuck his hand in to her ear, gently moving it down and behind her head and resting it over and on to her neck.
He slid his other hand over her waist and pulled her closer, bringing her body to push up against his.
She gasped, as she felt his hard chest pressing against her soft bosoms and the contact between their bodies, somehow ignited a fire that made fluids melt and run down in between Diana’s legs, moistening her feminine folds.
Her stomach, it felt uneasy, she didn’t know what it was but there were butterflies perhaps a feeling like so, that erupted from within her and made her feel soft on the inside.
Her cheeks grew crimson as Adrian soft breath fanned her face, making her realize how really close he was.
She could look right in to his eyes and study his gaze. It was statis and daunting.
She remained frozen to the ground and at the same time Adrian moved his hand up from her neck and in to her hair, grabbing a good chunk of it and entangled his fingers deep and softly in to them.
Diana darted her eyes low and noticed Adrian’s lips, they were only quivering just as slightly as hers was.
She moved her eyes up and found his eyes staring lower and on to her lips.
She immediately closed her eyes, realizing what was about to happen.
No… this wasn’t supposed to happen!
Adrian told himself, as he took a pause, before leaning any further.
But… I want this to happen.
A less rational part of his brain pushed him, against his own better self and without any further delay, Adrian leaned down and planted his lips right on top of Diana’s.
