WAHAAJ’S POV: I woke up with a small smile playing on my lips. Last night was pure heaven for me as it was satisfying physically and spiritually. My Abeera was sleeping in my arms, looking tired although her face was glowing. I placed a sweet kiss to her temple and decided to let her sleep. I got ready and left our room. “Don’t let anyone enter my room and do not disturb Abeera’s sleep.” I instructed a servant before heading out, knowing they knew better than to disobey me. Today’s Ayyan’s reception and I was heading out to handle some business matters. --------------- At noon, I went back home and entered my room to find Abeera drying her wet hair. “Why didn’t you wake me up in the morning? She asked me putting the hair dryer on the table. I went towards her. “How are you feeling?” I asked, worried for her as she was so young. “I am good but why are you asking me? I raised an eyebrow in response and a blush bloomed on her cheeks. “Oh!” She exclaimed and the realization hit her. “I-I am ok.” She stammered, looking down. I moved closer and pulled her face up by holding her chin i wasn’t expecting her to ture even more red, but she did. I absolutely love my effect on her, the way she shies away from me but then always turns to me for comfort. I placed a kiss on her forehead and hugged her to my chest. I ran my hair through her hair as she melted into me. “You are my wife, Abeera. You are the queen of my heart and my world. Mine to protect, love and cherish.” I said huskily in her ear as she shivered and snuggled further into my arms. -------------- Evening came by, and the party was on in full swing. My eyes followed Abbera and her every move. She looked gorgeous in her gown. “Bro, you do know that I am the newlywed and not you right? You look ready to pounce on her.” Ayyan chuckled. I growled and turned to him. “Is it my fault she is so beautiful?” I glared at him. I couldn’t take my eyes off of her. The more I looked at her, the more I fell for her. It was as if God was increasing her beauty per second or maybe I’m just going crazy. “She has to be beautiful, after all she calls me Bhai.” He said, faking arrogance. It made me smile which in turn, made him grin. The function went well as Abeera walked around spreading smiles and bringing me peace of a different kind.
