“Go out with me Madeline”
I look at him, dumbfounded.
Out of everything I had expected him to say, I didn't see this coming.
But is it sad to say that, this is the first time ever I have been asked out?
Especially by someone who truly wants me to go out with him?
Because he is serious.
“Why do you look so surprised?”
His lips curl up slightly, as he takes a step forward.
And my heart races!
“Did you find the gift I left behind?” He questions, before leaning forward to match my small figure.
