Senior Tournament

Jason sat down with Priscilla happy as they began eating lunch together, both nervously excited for the Tournament to begin. "So, will the Alpha let the Pack help you?" she asked as Jason sighed. "Depends on how well I rank in the tournament. Advanced students are allowed a quarter scholarship to Supernatural University, but if I can advance to Expert it will be half. Only the top 4 are given a full ride." Jason said as he sighed again. "What about you, do you have to wait the two days until your birthday?" he asked her as she smiled. "No, I have permission to do it today." she said knowing exactly what he was referring too. "What rank are you?" she asked him. "I am 5th in the advanced class, but I haven't been showing off what you taught me either. Which means one rank to get into the Expert competition, and depending on how well I do there, 4 ranks for the full ride. Which means 5 spots on total that I need to overtake." he said knowing exactly who it was that held those positions. "Well, it could be worse I suppose." she said with a smile which made him laugh. "Yeah, you could be one of them." he said which made her laugh as well. Priscilla looked around the lunch room, as it felt like someone was watching her. When she saw Tanner their eyes locked, which made him smile before his friends started giving him a hard time about not paying attention to them. She had a feeling she knew exactly what it was, but didn't know how she felt about being the Fated Mate of the future Alpha. Especially as he had given her such a hard time for so many years, and the only person she felt comfortable talking to about it was his mom. "Earth to Pris, it is time to go get changed." Jason said as the bell was ringing for what should have been the return to class. For them however it was to change and report to the field for the Senior Tournament that the majority of the Pack would come and watch. The rankings here greatly affect the jobs that one could have in the Pack. Priscilla walked into the girls locker room, and was surprised at how many were here, because she was used to being the only one when it was her time to change for class. "Oh look, it's the little Pris who thinks she is too good for us." Megan said as she walked over to her locker ignoring them. "Watch her choke and be dead last becaise she is never in class." Amber declared as the rest of the girls laugh as Priscilla turned and looked at them. "Why would I go to a newbie class with a bunch of prissy girls like you? Oh no, I might break a nail if I do anything." Priscilla said back as it angered them all. Not a single one of them had made it past the intermediate level in 4 years of training, and she was glad she didn't have to deal with them every day. "Don't worry Megan, we can laugh when she ranks dead last because she is never here. Let her see how it is to be at the bottom like she deserves." Amber said stopping her from attacking. Priscilla laughed as she quickly changed and looked at them. "Let me get this straight, you think because I am not in class with you nobody's, that I never go to Combat Class?" she asked and both of them nodded making her laugh even more as she put her sports bra on. "Did it never cross your feeble little minds that the reason I am never in your class is because I am not in your class? Or is the fact that I am better than you at everything too much for your pathetic ego to take?" she asked as Megan lunged for her again. "We will kick her ass in the ring." Amber said glaring daggers at her. "You better advance a lot of ranks if you want to face me. Experts do not fight beginners." Priscilla said as she walked out onto the field leaving them there with their mouths agape as she went and joined the 7 Expert ranked boys who had all learned not to piss her off. The two girls however took this to mean she was going after their long time boyfriends and marched right back up to her. "Get away from my boyfriend tramp!" Megan yelled as Priscilla shook her head in disbelief as she took the arm of Brandon and Amber grabbed Connor's arm. Priscilla laughed as she looked at the pissed look of the two, and smiled sweetly at them. "I want nothing to do with your boyfriends, other than to kick their asses in the tournament that, oh my gosh," she said gasping and covering her mouth for a second as if she was shocked. "Is arranged by actual skill in combat. That means you two are at the other end in the noob section." she said making the other 5 boys laugh as the two boyfriends looked confused. "What's going on?" Connor asked. "The w***e on your arm thinks I want you because I came over and joined the class for the tournament like we are supposed too." Priscilla said as the boys started laughing again. "Your not going to let her talk to me like that, are you Connor?" Amber gushed as the boys kept laughing when Tanner walked over to them. "What do you expect them to do to her? They couldn't beat her no matter how much they might want to, and if you are deluded enough to think you can, you might want to take a look at the rankings today." Tanner told them as the other 4 erupted in laughter again. "Now piss off to your own class Amber, we have to get ready for our own bouts and you are interfering." Amber and Megan were pissed as the teacher walked up and they were forced to leave their boyfriends with her still standing there. "She isn't really in the expert class is she?" Amber asked as Megan grabbed one of the programs for the tournament and gasped. "Actually, she is." Megan said stamping her feet as they walked to the intermediate class and knew there would be nothing they could do. Priscilla watched with her class as the cheered through the Beginned and Intermediate class Matches, the only ones caring about any of them were for Megan and Amber's matches, who ironically were knocked out in the first round. They also lost their second fights of the double elimination tournament, which completely knocked them out of the contention leaving them ranked somewhere in the low 80s or high 70s for the class. Once the Advanced Class was prepared to begin was when Alpha Alexander stood and was handed the microphone. "As we all know, from this point forward will be those who make up the warriors of our Pack, and will join the others who protect us. As is tradition the final four of the Advanced Class will progress into the Expert Tournament, for a chance to join the squad of Elite Warriors. Should the Alpha or Beta's son rank in the top 4, the next slots will be selected for this honor as neither of them are eligible. The top 4 will also earn a full ride scholarship to the college of their choice, as we strongly encourage any who wish to learn to attend higher education. Good Luck everyone." He said before the first two fights were called into the ring. There were only 12 of them, and unlike the beginner and intermediate classes that fought like wild dogs, these fighters showed skill even when in Wolf form. Jason was one of the last fights called as they started at the bottom, and he was one of the higher ranked advanced students, and Priscilla joined in the cheering for the first time as he quickly defeated his opponent. He had made it clear in that brief exchange he had been getting personal training and keeping it a secret. It didn't take long for the Advamced Class to get to their top 4, at which point the tournament ended because each of them would be going into the Expert class. There were now a total of 12 of them, and the bottom 4 started off their first round of competition between the two rings. What surprised her the most was when Tanner began cheering for Jason as well, as she thought he didn't have a clue who je was as she found his scent overwhelming her thoughts again as she daydreamed about what it might be like of they got together. She however knew it was impossible, because Stephany from the White Storm Pack had made it clear that she had a marriage contract and she would be the next Luna. She however got lost in the daydream so bad that she didn't realize that it was finally her time to fight, and her father was waiting at the bottom of the stairs while Tanner himself was waiting in the ring for her. She smiled as she stood up and shook her head clear as she walked down and her father stopped her. "I don't know why they think you are ranked first, but you will not embarrass me by beating him." Jonathon Matthews said digging his fingernails into her arm before she decked him in the nose breaking it. "I, Priscilla Matthews hereby reject you as my father and family Jonathon Matthews, Warrior of the Black Shadow Pack. From this day forth I sever all ties and bonds with you and those who would claim you as family. I declare myself my own family, not subject to your rules or regulations!" she said angrily loud enough for those nearby to hear before he felt the bond snap and grabbed his heart as it would cause immense pain. She however stood there breathing normally before she kicked him in the balls. "If you ever touch me again, I will kill you. Younare nothing but filth." she declared before walking into the ring as other people came and carted him off as she looked at the Alpha who nodded at her in approval. Tanner smiled and clapped as she turned to face him, as most of the Pack had seen what happened and heard with their sensitive hearing. "You had best not dream of taking it easy on me." he said with a smile. "Ask Connor's girlfriend if you want easy. I am going for what is mine." she replied as the other fight finished and theirs had yet to begin when there was an announcement from the Alpha. "As you have all no doubt heard already, Priscilla Jane Matthews has declared herself an independent family from the Matthews. With my permission as her 18th birthday is in two days, and all Wolves all given the right to change their name on that day, she has decided she will now be known as Stacy Marie Todd." Alpha Alexander said as her name was changed on the board, and she saw her mother and siblings gasps they knew what that meant. They had just lost all hold and control over her, and any attempt at reprisal and she could follow through with her threat. "Fight!" Beta Leroy yelled throwing his hand down in the air between Stacy and Tanner who quickly closed the distance between themselves. Tanner had seen too many times what she did to Wolves stupid enough to think they would have an advantage over her in that form, and fully intended to show how good he was and make her work for this win. What he wasn't expecting as soon as their bare arms touched when she blocked his strike, was to feel a small tingling sensation that sent jolts of desire through him. He couldn't understand what was going on, but for 20 minutes he couldnsaybje thoroughly enjoyed getting his ass handed to him as they both displayed why they were ranked first and second in the class. Despite being able to last so long, he knew it was over when he took a left hook to the temple that dazed him for a second, and he never felt the roundhouse kick that put him on his back unconscious as the crowd cheered that it was over. It was by far the longest fight, and those in the crowd were wondering why he never shifted, despite the fact for the full 20 minute fight she had never given him more than 3 seconds without being under attack. Stacy didn't celebrate the win over him, as it was not her style as she went to the corner wondering just what the tingling meant every time their skin touched. She was absorbed in her thoughts until she got called for her next fight, and made her way to the ring again as Tanner entered the other one. As soon as the gong sounded the Beta's son shifted to his Wolf and came rushing her hoping to catch her off guard. She however dodged to the side at the absolute last second before jumping onto his back and wrapping her legs around his neck while she began pounding on his head and cutting off his windpipe as she did so. Within seconds he was shifting back as he fell face first onto the mat, and it was clear by the shocked gasp from the crowd that it was not the expected result as she walked out of the ring still consumed by her thoughts of her fight with Tanner as he came out of the other ring and walked to the stands with her. "You have a Wolf, don't you?" he asked after carefully sniffing the air. Stacy looked at him and smiled as they walked to the stands, some of the only ones left in the competition. "What makes you think that?" she asked not wanting to reveal that just yet. He smiled as he whispered back. "One I can smell her. Two, you are much stronger and faster than you were a few days ago. Not that you wouldn't have kicked my ass still." he said making her chuckle. "Don't tell anyone yet?" she asked him knowing he might be one of the few who even cared. "If you don't tell anyone yet that we are Mates when I turn 18." he replied as she looked at him. "You have the contract." she said simply. "There are ways around that." he said confident as he was called to the ring again as she watched Jason win his fight again.
