It is now 9 p.m. and Katie was getting tired. I thought I could carry her for a few miles. We only had five miles left before we could find a place to camp. I cannot risk camping and getting caught in Violet Moon territory. Especially now that we are rogues. I picked up Katie and started to walk. Looking back at what was once my home, but now was my reason for my strength. With Katie in my arms, it was a slow walk. At 11 p.m. we had only gone about half the way, and I needed to rest.
