LILY
Lily stared at Mia as her bestie put some syrup on a pancake. Surely, she’d heard her friend wrong.
“According to Andy, his friend Tim is six feet tall, a law major, and likes survival sports.” Mia winked at her while she continued to drown her pancake in maple syrup.
“You want me to go on a double date with you? Are you kidding me? It’s been less than a week since you filed for divorce. The ink on the papers you gave your lawyer hasn’t even dried yet.”
“It’s not a double date,” Mia said. “Andy is just a friend. We are not compatible at all. I mean, he’s a Sagittarius.” She rolled her eyes as if Lily had been the one suggesting something ridiculous. “Also, I’m done with men.”
