His mother’s words echo in my head. I heard everything. From what my mom did to why his mother dislikes me.
My mother isn’t a perfect mother, but she is still my mother. I may hate her for what she did to dad, but I can’t stay mad at her.
I let my body slam on the bed and pull the blankets up to my head. I know Hyko will be here anytime soon. He saw me eavesdropping and he’s definitely on his way now.
