“Seriously, you don’t have to do this,” I say for the third time.

I close my eyes and sigh. “It is because you were not listening to me!”
I told him that it isn’t necessary. The marriage is only for show. Plus, I haven’t told my father about this yet. He doesn’t even know I’m in contact with him!
“What will my father say if we’ll tell him we’re getting married soon?” My father knows my stance about befriending Hyko before. My mother was very vocal about it. I even heard them fighting since I don’t like what my mom said and my father is siding with me.
