Hyko’s POV
I help their maid to tuck Mr. Levrinne onto the bed.
“Thank you, sir,” she says.
I nod at her while fixing his blanket. “Where is Ari?” I ask.
Emy, their servant, glances at her back and back to me. “She’s probably in her room, sir. 3rd floor. The first room on the right.”
“Thanks,”
I let her take care of Mr. Levrinne who is now completely unconscious. This mansion is already a bit familiar to me. I did not have a hard time looking for her room.
“Ari?” I call. I knock three times on her door, yet no one answers. “Ari—”
“Leave,” her low and soft voice answers. I hear her sniff behind the door.
“Ari, open the door,” I say in an authoritative tone. I can’t leave her in this state. “Ari…” I say in a warning tone. “In the count of three… 1… 2…”
The door burst out open.
