Chapter : 2. Fairy training..

Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz………….

“Make it stop..”

“I’m trying… Stop, you stupid alarm…”

“Ughhh… Every morning…”

“I’m going to throw it out of the window one day.”

I placed the alarm clock back on the table with a loud thud. It is our daily routine. I don’t know where my parents had bought this piece of crap from, but one day I am truly going to break it apart. It seems like they instructed it to keep buzzing until we are up. No matter how much we try, we can’t make it stop, until we are sitting up or standing out of our bed. It’s one of our nightmares.

“I wish I could sleep like those idiots. They are probably sleeping through the alarm like every day.” Hope said to me, sighing in disappointment.

“Let’s wake them up then.” My idea brought a smile to her face immediately. She knows exactly what I’m taking about.

“That’s a great idea. Let’s go.”

Taking two buckets full of water, we went to their room. We can hear the buzzing sound of the alarm clock in their room, even from out of the door. It means they are not awake yet. I can’t understand how can they sleep through such dreadful noise? I motioned Hope to get in and she opened the door with a silent screech. Getting inside, we found them sleeping so peacefully. But my poor brothers. Their sleep in not going to last any longer. With an evil smile on our lips, we both went beside both of them and poured the whole buckets water on them at one time.

“Holy shit..”

What the hell is this..?”

“Are you crazy?”

They screamed out at us, jumping up on their bed from the touch of sudden coldness.

“We thought you must be feeling hot. These summer days can make you really uncomfortable.” Hope said to them innocently. She pretended like she cares about them a lot.

“You.. I know what you were doing. Nobody can save you from us today. Mirth, let's catch them and show them what we can do.”

“I’m with you. Let’s go.”

Just as they both got up to catch us, we screamed out and ran downstairs. We know way too well that if we get caught, they will do far worse than what we did to them. There is only one way to save ourselves. Just to let you know, we call our dads as dad A and dad E. A for Aiden and E for Ethan. We found this way so that none of us get confused. Having two fathers and two brothers, when you yourself have a twin, is really hard.

“Dad… Help us..” We kept screaming and searching for our dads. They are the only ones Mirth and Truce are scared of.

“What happened, girls?” We heard them reply from the kitchen, and we ran toward there.

“Dads, save us. They want to kill us.” Hope and I hide behind our dads and blame our brothers for no reason.

“Truce, Mirth, what are you doing to our princesses?” Dad E asked them as our brothers stopped on their way after seeing us hiding behind dad.

“We did nothing. Your princesses are the ones who dropped water on us while we were sleeping. Look at us.” Truce said, as he showed his wet clothes.

“We were only trying to wake them up. They were sleeping through the alarm.” I said in our defence.

“Is it true? You were still sleeping after the alarm rang?” This made them quiet for a while.

“Uhh.. We were just about to wake up…” Now I feel sorry for them as they have nothing to say anymore.

“So, you are the ones at fault. Case dismissed. Go back to your rooms and get ready for your training.” Dad A ordered them.

“No. Case is not dismissed. I heard everything. My boys are completely innocent. That is not a way to wake someone up. They should have just called them to wake up. Don’t always blame my boys.” Our mother came and took her sons side like always.

“I think my daughters did right. They broke the rules of early waking. So, they needed to be punished.” Dad A started arguing with mom. But we all know that the results are not going to be good. They can never win against mom.

“Really. So, this should be the punishment for waking up late. Hmm.. Maybe I should use it too from now on too.” Both of our dads eyes widen in horror to hear that. They also wakes up late and mom had to call them several times to make them wake up.

“Aiden, you are completely wrong. This is not a way to wake someone up. We should scold our daughters for it, not take side of them.” Dad E instantly changed his side to save his own back.

“Ethan? I thought you were on my side?” Dad A’s face became more horrified to find out that his own brother was not on his side.

“I’m sorry, bro, but going against our mate is probably not a good idea. I don’t want to wake up everyday like our sons. I suggest, ask for forgiveness from Cassia. Maybe you will also get saved.” Although dad E said it to his brother’s ears in a whisper, we can all hear it clearly. All of us started laughing silently to see how much our dads fear our mom.

“I guess you are right. I don’t want to wake up like that as well. Our princesses are the wrong ones.”

“Yes..” Truce and Mirth high five hearing dad A’s retreating words.

“Dads.. Both of you can’t just back off in fear. What about us?” We sisters complain to them about not taking our side anymore.

“I’m sorry, my princesses. I can’t go against my queen. She is our everything and what she says will be the final words.” Saying this, dad A went near mom and hugged her from back.

“Now, go back to your room and get ready. Leave us alone so that we can have some private time with your mom.” Dad E also went to mom and hugged her sideways.

“Ewe… Gross.. Stop.. We don’t want to see that..” All four of us screamed out and closed our eyes as we saw them starting to kiss our mom.

“Then what are you still waiting for. Run away if you don’t want to see more.”

All of us were out of the kitchen before they can finish their sentence. We are not any freaks to see our mom and dad making out in front of our eyes. So, we all went to our rooms to change our clothes and freshen up without another word to each other.

Today is Monday. The Fairy training day. We have seven days fixed for every single kinds training. Mondays are for fairy training, Tuesdays are for werewolf, Wednesday for mermaid, Thursdays for again werewolf, Fridays for vampire, Saturdays for again werewolf, and lastly Sundays. It is the only day we get to relax a bit. Sundays are our mother’s day as she takes tests for our progress. It’s very short because most of the time we spend some quality time with each other and only on that day we are allowed to sleep a bit longer. But from today, our school is getting started after the summer vacation. Days are going to get harder again. All this training and school works make us really exhausted at the end of the day. But what can we do? We are the future kings and queens. We have to become the best. And peoples think a prince or princesses life is easy.

Getting ready after wearing some sports wears, we went out to the training ground. Our fairy leaders are already waiting there for us, all ready as a couch. I love Mondays because I love the fairy training.

“Good morning, kids.”

“Good morning uncle Ryan. Good morning aunt Michell.” I like how they always come in a pair as they train us each.

“Should we start? Let’s go to the forest.” We nod to uncle Ryan and went to the forest.

“Last week, girls were chasing boys. So, this week, it’s going to be the other way. Mirth is going to catch Hope, and Truce is going to catch Faith.”

“No… Why me..?” Truce immediately whined out to hear that. None of them wants to chase me because I am faster than all of them when I’m in trees.

Let me explain to you how this training goes. Fairies usually like to stay on high ground as it helps them to fly. So, they used to live on top of the trees, safe from beasts down the trees. That’s why the fairy leader wants us to learn how to stay up on the trees and save ourselves if anyone attacks. Moving on trees is much safer than running on the ground, when your opponent is a werewolf. I love trees. I love to climb on them and hang on its branches. Forest gives me peace. That peace is what gives me the speed when I’m on top of it. Nobody can catch me if I’m running in a forest because they won’t be even able to see my presence.

A huge grin came onto my face, hearing today’s challenge. I’m going to give Truce a really hard time today. With this thought, I started running just as uncle Ryan announced to start. We quarry get an extra two minutes’ time in the starting so that the chaser has to search us up by using their senses. I used my speed and climbed up the tree in a blink, making everyone look with awe. Before my two minutes ends, I was far away from the place Truce was. Sitting behind a huge brunch, I kept my eyes open for his arrival. It took him at least ten minutes to find me out, hiding in my spot.

“Aha.. I see you there. You are not going to get away anymore.”

Saying this, Truce started following me, as I kept jumping from one brunch to another to maintain the distance between us. I was really enjoying it whenever I looked behind and found him getting far behind me. After a few more minutes, I was again really far from him. Again hiding below a tree, I kept searching for him. This time I was hiding in a bush, down from the tree. It was a really thick bush, and nobody can look inside it from out of it. I know that Truce must be searching me up on the trees, not on the ground. So there is no way he will be able to find me easily.

Just as I was thinking about it and laughing on my own, I heard a twig break. I instantly got quiet and tried to hear if he was really here or not, when I heard another twig break. Is he truly here? How did he get here so quick? And how did he realize that I was here? I had a doubt in my mind. So, I pushed a few leaves out of my way, creating a hole through it, to see outside. At first I couldn’t see anything, and the way the sound came from was clear. Did I hear wrong? Maybe it was a squirrel or something. Sighing on my own, I was about to hide again when something caught my attention. There is something moving outside. As I picked outside again, a huge black fur animal came into my eyes. It was just outside of my bush and I could hear it take a big whiff of this place. Did it find out I was hiding here? Is he going he eat me?

An unknown fear took place in my mind. At that moment, I forgot that I am a werewolf and I can escape this animal or scare it away by only shifting in my wolf form. This animal was radiating a very dark vibe, which made me scared of it unknowingly. Then It came to my mind that I should probably run. If I stay here any longer, it will surely eat me up. With this thought, just as I took a step back, a red fire like eyes peeked back at me from the same hole I was looking at it. Seeing such scary eyes, I screamed out and started running. No idea where.
