"Help me, Mummy!" I mentally groaned. Not this again. The familiar scene was before me. The heat in the air stung against my skin. The smoke entered my nostrils, and I tried to see through the tears it brought to my eyes. Through my blurry vision, I could make out the faint images of the running people. "Mummy! Daddy!" I saw the boy again by the doorway of the same house. But this time he was not alone. The two little girls who played with him earlier were near the house. They were banging feebly against the door, trying to get him out. "Liam!" I saw the mother in the distance. Again, her face was recognizable. She had been holding a dead man in her arms.
