PROLOGUE

441 Words
When she sees him, she imagines her clothes torn apart by his hands, her skin soiled from the dirt on the ground, her mascara running down her cheeks. In her laughter, he can hear her squeaks and moans, her cries and screams, from the last time he had her strung up at the whipping post and had free run of her body. In her eyes, she can see his devotion, his submission to her will, his desire to please her. When he reaches for her neck, he also slides his hand through her hair. When he slaps her face, he will press his palm against her slit. When he bent her over the bed and spread her legs with his knees, she would whisper “harder” in his ear. When the flogger makes contact with her skin, he feels his sheer awe of her for willingly offering her body up to him. He continued slow and steady, unrelenting, until she gave into him again, the last of her resistance draining away in the rhythm of the paddle against her back. He pauses for a moment, strokes her cheek softly, and wipes a tear away. “Good, take ten more for me.” When her body is covered in sweat, her wetness soaked with his and filling the room with its scent, her throat raw with screaming, her knees buckling more and more often, when he know she is about as far as he can take her, he pushed her just a little bit more—not for him, but to show her just how strong and resilient she is. He gives her another “harder” as he runs his hands over her reddened skin, telling her that it’s all over, that she’s done well, that you’re proud of her. And when he took her bindings off and bring her back down to earth, when she is at her most open and vulnerable, he cradle her in his arms and wrap his love around her, his love that comes from the beauty of her pain, from the strength of her mind, from the offering of her body. He can see in her eyes the gratitude and joy she feels for having been his instrument, a catalyst for his darkness and cruelty. She knows that giving her pain is a gift that striking her skin is a kiss from his shadow self, that his cruelty to her is a sign of his utter trust in and love for her. "I love you so much, but I don't want to hurt you anymore" said Brix. "But I can't feel love without pain"
