chapter 15

Carlos Alpha of the Fire Mountain Pack,

When i got the email a week ago, i couldn't believe i will be seeing my old friend again, Rune has been my friend for almost two hundred years now, I was wondering when he was going to do the mating ball, it has been a long time since a ball had been held, I linked all my pack members that was mateless, even the ones that have no shifted yet, just because they couldn't feel the mate pull just yet, doesn't mean their mate can’t find them I told them in a week that Alpha Rune was having a mating ball and that i wanted even the ones that haven't shifted yet to come, and to help each other find their dresses and suits, in one week you need to be ready there will be no drama, no fighting, and when you walk through those doors you will give them the respect that you would want from them,” they all said Yes Alpha and that was that, now all i need to do is find me something nice, and i would be going as well, just to make sure my members will be well behaved, because i do not want a war on my hands, i looked at my mate Kathy and smiled, ‘Well i guess we will be going to a mating ball to keep our pack in line,”

I finally got the email from Alpha Rune and Hope about the Mating ball, i've already told my pack about it and they have been looking for dresses, and the guys their suits, but we couldn't come without the invite, When i finally got the invite, i read a letter from Alpha Hope explaining to me that she was sorry for the late invite, she did not mean it for it to be so late, that she hoped to see us there, i wrote her back, telling her how thankful i was for the invite and we will definitely be there, and we would see them soon, i sent the email, It was a day before the ball, And everyone had there clothes ready, i rented out rooms at a hotel close by Alpha Hopes pack, well i rented out the whole hotel since none of my pack had found their mates here, I hoped they would find their mates somewhere, I had lost my mate during a fight with rogues, there were to many of them, and he had lost his life, it almost killed me and I swore i would never have another mate, i will go with my pack to make sure they are well behaved, but i will not be looking for a mate, i rather stay single then to have a mate that dies again,

A DAY BEFORE THE BALL,

The day before the ball everyone was running around trying to get everything done, Hope was in the kitchen making sure that everything was done and perfect, May was running around making sure everything was done as well, She walked into the hall and was stunned, The hall was filled with tables and chairs white table cloths were on them with a small vase of flowers, there were three bars with bartenders that would make drinks for everyone the food buffet would be on the far left of the room, and there was even space for dancing, there was also a staircase leading up to a balcony, She was about to go upstairs when she felt a hand going around her waist, “This place looks beautiful doesn't it?” turning to face her mate, yes it is, there are actually white bows on the back of the chairs,

“but what is up in the balcony, May had asked Erick?” “Well you see love, when we have mating balls or who ever has them, the Alpha lycan comes, you see the lycans are more powerful then any werewolf or werecat or werebear, he likes to sit up in the balconies and watch, he alone is always looking for his mate, the story is he has never found his mate and he is over five thousand years old, and he keeps looking every time we have these balls, he will come tomorrow and who knows when but he will be here up there watching, and hopefully he will find her tomorrow night, His name is Alpha Stephan and he's the meanest lycan out there that rules his pack with a iron fist,” May nodded, somehow she wasn't scared, she hoped to see him to just take a peak to see what he looks like, maybe he will find his mate tomorrow night, they left the hall as the omegas was finishing up, tomorrow they will be only working for a few hours and hoped to find their mates, Hope and Rune hired others from the outside to come to work during the ball,

I watched as everyone was still running around making sure i guess that everything was done, this is just nuts going crazy over a dance, i shake my head looking at the crazy people that were running around, That's when i saw her, she was heading to the house, i knew what she looked like, alright this could be easy or this could be hard, but i want this girl and i will have this girl, things will be different, its just something about her that i want to see i need to know how powerful she really is,
