Lee pov

i awoke with the sun shining brightly on my face today was the day of the dance and I was really nervous, I didn't want to get out of bed I pulled the blankets over my head and stayed there until I had to use the bathroom, damn bladder betraying me, I threw the blankets off of me getting out of bed to head to the bathroom, I did my business and washed my hands, I was about to get back in bed when I heard a knock on the door,. “Damn, It was one of the girls that mom hired to due my hair and make up, I sighed walking over to my door to open it,, the woman behind the door was all smiles she had short dark hair up to her neck, she was wearing long ruby earrings her eyes was the color of blue orange, so i knew she was not human, she was wearing ripped jeans and a pull over white shirt, “Come on, if your going to find your mate then we need to start getting you ready,” I followed her to the bathroom she ran me a bath pouring milk and putting flowers into the tub, “I want you to soak for a few hours, this will relax you so you won't feel so nervous, and don't say your not, i can feel that you are, so get into the tub and soak away,” all i could do was laugh saying yes ma’am, i took off my nightgown and got into the tub to relax, she put some lavender into the tub and left. So I laid back putting my head back to relax,

Carrie pov

When Mr Hope hired me i was I was suppose to help Lee relax, When I walked through those doors i felt her nervousness about tonight, i felt everything what she was thinking, and feeling and I had to shut that out, she was scared to death, she already lost someone she loved after he had found his true mate, she didn’t want it to happen again, so I put some lavender into the tub to help her relax, i walked to her closet and found the dress she was going to wear, it was white with little diamonds running down the middle, the train of the dress was a little long but it was just as beautiful, it had a slit on the side and it would just show a little cleavage with some class, the dress was perfect for her, i laid the dress on the bed careful not to rip the train, i laid that to on the bed,I pulled out the shoes to match and the purse, i also got the makeup and the hair stuff together and placed it on her vanity, this was going to take hours to do, and Hope told me to take my time, the party doesn’t start until eight tonight, well its going to take awhile to get her ready, so yeah its a good thing that Hope told me to do that, I walked back into the bathroom after a few hours and I looked down at the tub with Lee inside, she looked so relaxed with her head laying back, it was time for her to get out, I placed my hand gently on her shoulder her skin was so soft that i wish i was a werecat. but I was happy to be what I was,

Lee pov

I felt Carrie’s hand on my shoulder as I opened my eyes, she smiled down at me, ‘It's time to get out unless you like cold water,” shaking my head I got out of the tub placing quickly placing a towel around me, i stood there not sure what to do, i heard her sigh, “listen I am a lady in waiting meaning i have to wait on you hand and foot, I can also feel your every thought and how you are feeling right now, if you do not want to go, then don't go, and if you do, you should look your best, and I saw the dress you will be wearing, your going to look hot as hell at the dance tonight, so don't be nervous you see I am part seer and part human part witch, I know all about the supernatural, i'm not scared of what you are, so come on, you can be honest with me, do you really want to do this?”

“Yes I really want to go, i'm just nervous that's all, and if I don't find my mate tonight, I will still be alright, there will be plenty more dances in the future and I will be okay with that, I will have to be,” Carrie understood what she meant, she was really hoping she would find her mate, ‘Come on, let's get you seated I have a lot of work to do and you are going to look amazingly hot tonight,” Carrie got to work, as the other girls started getting ready as well, May was in her room with Erick they were getting dressed and Erick kept tossing May on the bed, ‘Erick if you don't stop we are never going to get to the Ball,”

‘Well that is the plan love, she rolled her eyes, ‘Alright horn dog, we will spend a few hours in the hall, as soon as we know Lee is safe, we will head back here and you can do whatever you want with me,” she regretted ever saying that because he wiggled his eyebrows, “Anything?” she shook her head, “not anything,” that made him laugh,
