Hope pov

I knew something was going on tonight when I kept seeing Angela look over at Hilton, and i was thinking oh s**t not tonight, not on my daughters birthday, but Lee surprised the hell out of me, she took Hilton over to Angela and walked away, i didn't know what was said, but she walked away after they talked, i was very proud of her, i knew she would find her mate, but i was glad it wasn't tonight, i was not ready for our daughter to grow up, not so fast anyway, Years ago when Rune felt a threat he went out in the woods with some warriors and guards, they searched for hours but found nothing, what ever or whoever it was. was gone now. and have not been back, maybe it was a passerby, and they happened to see Lee playing, who knows and we might not ever know but just in case we had extra guards out tonight to protect the pack, we were not taking any chances the night was ending fast everyone started going inside and others helped clean up, it made me think of something, we have a lot of memebers that do not have mates here, I will need to talk to Rune about this and see what he says, we have the huge hall that we never use, we could use it for a ball, a mating ball, invite other packs here to see if they could find their mates, as the night ended i went upstairs and saw Lee’s door open, I knocked in walked inside her room, i saw her standing there looking at herself in the mirror, “Lee no matter how much you look at yourself, your still going to be beautiful, she smiled as a single tear came down her face, i hurried over to her and hugged her tightly, my hand ran through her hair, “I was wondering when you was going to shed some tears, i knew you was just trying to be strong and i am very proud of you Lee,”

“Mom, I don't think there is a mate out there for me , I really thought Hilton was, but he wasn't, but i wasn't going to make him reject his and he would be miserable without her, Hope thought about this, “Alright thats it, we are going to have a mating ball, we are going to invite all the packs that are close by that does not have mates, so that way if there is a mate out there, then you and him will find each other, it's not so bad Lee, i was without a mate for almost hundred years until I found your dad, don’t worry it will happen for you, I’ll go talk to your dad and i'm sure he will agree to the ball besides there's others out there that do the same, so we will do one, how hard can it be,” I kissed my daughter's forehead and headed toward my room, I opened the door and Rune was sitting in his chair on the computer, what was he up to now,

Rune pov

I had watched my daughter all night long and i was very proud of her for what she had done, but i also saw the sadness in her eyes, she was trying to stay strong, she is just like her mother, she is strong on the outside, but when she is alone she lets it go, I was thinking about having a ball for those that do not have a mate. it could be fun watching everyone dance and i could dance with Hope, even though i would probably step on her toes a thousand times, he chuckled as he was looking things up on the computer and then he decided he would do this ball in few weeks, that will give us enough time to send out invites and get everything ready, he didn't even hear Hope come into the room. he jumped a mile when he felt her hand on his shoulder, “Now what are you doing?” he smirked, turning around looking right into her beautiful green eyes, “i have a plan want to hear?” she nodded yes. We are having a mating ball in two weeks, i've already sent out the invites to every pack that we know, this will give us enough time to get the food and to decorate the hall, we both know that the hall is big enough for over fifthteen packs, if need be we will put out tents and chairs with tables so everyone will have a chance to get to know each other and see what happens,” Hope couldn't believe her ears, she was thinking the same thing, and she told him this, “I was thinking the same thing Rune, i just told Lee about the plan and I told her I would go and talk to you, but there is no use because you have already set it in motion, now we need to get the omegas here in the morning, and of course they will be able to come to the ball as well, they also need to find their mates it's only fair,”

“Yeah but Rune, what packs do we know and are friendly,”

We have a Silver crescent pack. Fire mountain pack. Black mountain pack,Red sky pack and midnight moon pack, with the Silver shadow pack and the Bear red river Pack, and many more, we must let them know if they do not get along with each other, then they can settle it

on their time not on our land and they all must respect each other, no fighting because if they start fighting every single one of them will be locked in our dungeon, and it wont be pretty,”

“So are all the invites ready to send out?”

“Yeah I think so, all i have to do is click this button and everyone of them will be sent out,”

“Well honey, what are you waiting for, click it, i'm sure tomorrow we will be getting tons of phone calls so we need to keep our phones on us at all times, so click it and then lets go to bed, its four in the morning and we have to be up in a few hours to start work” Rune chuckled, “Fine, Fine, whatever you say boss,” Hope laughed as they got into bed, The next day was crazy Hope was right, tons of phone calls started coming and they answered every single one of them, we had to. how else will we know who was coming, all was friendly with each other, and i had to get the omegas a list of food and decorations, I also told them they will be coming as well so look for a nice dress to wear, they all were excited, and i also told them men as well, and too look for a suit to wear as well, they all scattered to get everything that was on the list, they were excited and wanted to look their best for the mating ball,
