Chapter 10
Under Felix’s supervision, Blake called Travis and Julie first thing in the morning. Julia’s excited bouncing was audible over the phone, as was Travis’s smile.
“Great to hear!” Travis said. “I was getting worried. You’ve barely answered my texts all month. Everything okay over there?”
“Oh, yeah, we’re fine. We’re, um, entertaining guests from out of town and, uh, getting ready to have them here has taken a lot of, um, effort.”
“In-laws?”
“No, just friends. Felix’s friend.”
“Okay. Well, I’m really happy you said yes. As the official godfather, do you have any name suggestions?”
