Zadie's POV
Donovan, Skyler and I made our way up to our suite when we were done with dinner. Skyler was ready for a long soak in the tub in her bathroom and I needed a shower. I wanted to get back to my Mom's journals. I only had a few more to read and was curious to see what kind of answers they held.
I took a nice, long, hot shower. I wasn't in the right headspace at dinner, but I knew Rex was there. I really need to build up the curage to talk to him more. For how close we were as kids, it's been awkward around him since my first visit here.
I just need to suck it up and make an effort. I wanted to ask him about his sister and parents anyway. Tomorrow. I'll go talk to him tomorrow and ask about his family. Maybe that could be our icebreaker.
