It had been a few days now since my shift and the pack run, and I was still sore. One, for shifting for the first time, Donovan said it was normal to be sore. And two, from running so long. He also said most wolves who shift for the first time only last 3 miles. Goddess only knows how many miles we did in over an hour. But Akira had so much energy, I didn't want to pull her back.
I didn't know what happened with Rex, and I'm not going to lie, I was disappointed. I thought he wanted me like I wanted him.
