Rex's POV I couldn't believe how quickly Zadie fully shifted. It caught me off guard and I landed on my back, looking up at her. She was beautiful. I had never seen a rose-gold wolf before, but her eyes were still her eyes. They changed colors, starting out an Amber color when she first opened them, then turning to green once we all started laughing. When we shifted and took off running, I was surprised at how naturally she moved about. Most new wolves stumble and run slower. But not her. She kept up with Zeke, Donovan and I with no problems. After an hour or so of running, a lot of the pack had called it a night. It was still early, so I got the idea to take her to the swimming hole. We had been there a couple of times as kids, but I wanted to see if she remembered it. As if he could
