Did I seriously just hear him right? Did he just ask me out on a date? I mean, he is quite handsome. Tall, lean, and muscular. Tanned skin with dark blonde hair and blue eyes. Typical werewolf with his god-like looks. But was I ready for a date?
I know he's not my mate, Akira hasn't even stirred other than scoffing in the back of my mind when he asked to go for coffee. But it can't hurt to make friends....right?
"I, um....that's very flattering, but I have a lot going on at the moment. My first shift is tomorrow, and I'm just getting settled into being back in a pack. Maybe in a week or so once things settle down? Would that be okay?"
