Updated  Kelsie’s (Graven’s rogue she-wolf mate) P.O.V   It has been two months since my strange mate has marked me and I really didn’t want to be marked by him yet, not when he still wanted that other she-wolf. I didn’t mind at all him wanting her because if he rejected me then there was always a chance that I would meet my second chance mate, but now that I’ve been marked I could be rejected by him as well. Graven wanted me to mark him, but I told him I wanted to wait. I still had no idea of what he was and that scared me a little. I knew he was half wolf, but I had no idea what else he was. Hell, I have known him for a little over two and half months and yet only found out his name was Graven two months ago, which is a good name for any one I guess. When we first met we had s*x straight away, but since I told him he was my mate we have only mated each other a few times. It wasn’t him, he wanted to, but I didn’t because I wasn’t sure about my feelings for him just yet. I like him and all, but he still holds lots of secrets from me. I have been in this pack for a fair bit of time and it was my home, but now Graven had also joined and that made me happy at first, but now I’m not too sure if he was here for the right reasons. I’m still not sure if our pack of rogues ended up being an actual pack or not, but we built on this land, got jobs and made sure there was training everyday, we even built a playground for the kids. Alpha Ellis eventually sent a letter off to the werewolf council and they agreed to our name, the Blue Woods pack, since we loved the woods so much. I was currently standing at the window, looking out into the woods and thinking about letting my wolf Rose out for a run, but then I suddenly felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist. I rolled my eyes and then turned putting a smile on my face when I looked into his big brown eyes.   “I’ve been looking for you. Come, let's take a walk. We need to talk about a few things.” Graven said and I nodded. Well, here it comes, he’s going to reject me so he could go find this mate he thinks he has. We walked out of the pack house and across the yard for a few minutes, neither of us saying a word to each other until we got to the middle of the territory.   “Alright, you got me here, so what do you want to talk about?” I asked, stopping and looking up at him.   “Are you wanting to reject me now? I’m not a fool, Graven, I know you still want that other she-wolf and lets just face it, we’re not a good match. We argue all the time, we only mated a few times and you're just not into it. Besides, aren’t you the one that said you only wanted to imprint on me and then mate with me, but then you marked me. So just let me have it, reject me and get it over with.” I said, getting impatient. He was a little taken back by my words and opened and closed his mouth a few times to speak, but then he took a deep breath and slowly exhaled.   “Listen, that's not why I brought you here or asked to talk to you, but yeah, you said it all right there. I wasn’t going to reject you, I was going to talk to you about other things. I was going to tell you what I’ve been hiding. f**k that other she-wolf, she has another mate and from what I have seen she is going to have her hands full. I’m not interested in her, I’m interested in you.” Graven replied, shocking me. Me? He wanted me?   “You want to know more about me, so we don’t have any secrets, well here it is. I’m a hybrid, I’m half wolf, but I am also half vampire. My mother was a wolf and my father was a vampire. I can feed on either blood or normal food and when I wanted you to mark me it was because I wanted you stronger, like me. I know you are my mate, Kelsie and I’ve been fighting it because that's me. I’m bull headed and stubborn, I’m not trying to play with your heart.” Graven said, reaching forward and taking my face in his hands.   “Kelsie, I’m not good for you. Yeah we argue a lot, but I’m always right here. Are you willing to watch me when my blood lust takes over and I need to feed? I can be ruthless, aggressive and when I want something I get it. I can be out right mean as hell.” Graven said, looking into my eyes. He watched as I rolled my eyes and softly chuckled.    “Graven, I have seen many things in my life as a rogue. I’ve seen aggressive and I’ve seen mean. I’ve seen life, death and everything else and you my dear are not mean. Now my Alpha is mean, but you, you are just aggressive and spoiled. You pout when you don’t get what you want, but lucky for you I like a challenge.” I replied, cupping his face with my hands. He had finally opened up to me and told me not only everything I wanted to know, but also everything I wanted to hear, especially in regards to his other supposed mate. Hopefully, maybe, just maybe we could now move past this and be together.
