Mia's POV
I had already informed Severus about what happened. I didn't dare to speak to the royal family. I knew they would blame me for the ambush. Given that their son was in a grave state, they might even blame me for what happened thirty years ago with the Goldmoon pack. Who knows how far they spread their hatred for me? I was not in the right state of mind to hear whines and complaints.
I was still thirty minutes to the outskirts of Lunasa when I noticed Ivan showing signs of infection when he spurted out blood. It shouldn't be this fast, even if something pierced his heart. I wondered if they had developed some more lethal poison. I sighed, calling back Severus to connect me with the doctor.
"Severus, can you put the pack doctor on the speaker? Ivan doesn't look good." I grumble
