Isn’t that what so many have offered up in religion? Their needs to find relief where they can’t on their own?
I frown at this briefly, never having actually tried it before and yet Ta’lab is here speaking to me in the depths of my mind, he’d penetrated my anxiety attack and controlled it with hope. It had been like he’d pulled me from the darkness of my own mind, as if it were night to see the dawn of their promises.
When I finally opened my eyes I felt new.
Like I could do this, and so I began again.
There I stood before them and took a deep steadying breath before looking up into each of their eyes. I wanted to be sure they were here and listening the way Ta’lab was. By way of their nods, I knew I still had the floor, that I would be fine, and so, I let it all out.
