CHAPTER FIFTEEN
Oliver, Hazel, and Ralph settled down at Galileo’s wooden dining table while the inventor went to the kitchen to make them some food.
Though the immediate danger the Elysian posed had now passed, Oliver felt more shaken and confused than ever.
Professor Amethyst had sent him and his team to Italy to find the Scepter of Fire, yet they’d failed to find a single sign of it. Instead, they’d been derailed from their original mission by a super-powerful creature that looked like an alien-ghost who wanted Oliver dead for no discernable reason. And Galileo Galilei, the person sheltering them from danger, used to actually be one of the alien-ghost things himself! Clearly, something far greater was going on here than Oliver could even begin to imagine.
