The King’s Mate

Magnus Perspective “Ugh . . .” Selene let out a deep, guttural moan as I vigorously explored her with my fingers, and now she's glistening with desire. She is quivering with pleasure as her climax spills down her trembling thighs. She’s such a w***e. With a fiery glare, she rises to her feet, hastily tugging her panties back into place as she spits out the words, “Screw you, Magnus.” Her fingers wrap tightly around my hand, pulling it towards her as she demands my attention. I am forced to meet her gaze as she stares intently into my eyes. “Can I trust that you won't abandon me?” As she tugged on my shirt, our noses were mere millimeters apart, almost touching. “I may end up taking the lives of any women who choose to remain by your side this week.” Her laughter echoes through the room as she playfully shoves me aside, rising to her feet. “What in the world is going on with you? Selene, you're a deranged and unpredictable woman.” I sink my teeth into my quivering lower lip, feeling the seething rage bubbling up within me. My hand trembles as I try to strike her, but I can't bring myself to do it. “Damn it to hell! I want to feel the warmth of a growing life inside me. Please, make me pregnant!" Her eyes are blazing with a fiery red hue, a clear indication of her growing annoyance. “You’re making a lot of women pregnant, except for me? What’s going on?” “It’s not my fault that you’re incomplete, woman.” Without warning, her hand came crashing down on my cheek, the force of the blow making me clench my jaw in pain. “You’ll be a mere shadow of yourself in my absence.” Her words elicited a burst of laughter from me. I clutched her arm tightly, my heart racing with fear. “What do you mean?” I asked urgently. I firmly grasped her delicate chin, causing her eyes to lock onto mine with a palpable sense of unease. I bet. “Selene, you’re a mere shadow of yourself without the Lycan King.” I press my thumb against her luscious, full lips, watching as they quiver with anticipation. I held her tightly, pulling her even closer to me as I whispered, “I know we’re not for each other if you can’t have a baby,” “But it doesn’t mean, I prefer other woman than you.” “So, stop acting like a b***h, and take a seat.” I forcefully shoved her onto the soft mattress, and swiftly began to adjust my unruly locks. In the mirror’s reflection, I catch a glimpse of her eyes as they dramatically roll upwards in exasperation. “What’s with the attitude?” “If you're unable to impregnate me, it's quite an awkward situation. Why don’t we hire a surrogate mother? I can’t take the baby of the low quality women you’ve fucked.” I gritted my teeth, squeezed my eyelids shut, and felt a seething anger boil up inside me as her words pierced through my heart. I chuckle as I remark, “Those women are of inferior quality.” “Don't make me cringe with shame just because you're feeling mortified by your parents' insistence on providing you with every possible luxury.” As I pivoted my body towards her, she rose to her feet once more. “Do you know what? I don’t care.” Her head jolted back and forth in a quick, dismissive motion. “I am utterly indifferent to the consequences that may befall me in your absence. I despise the sight of you being intimate with another woman, and the mere thought of it makes me see red. I might even resort to savage violence, but right now, my mind is blank and numb.” “Do you even love me, huh?” she lower her grip into my pants. “Or you only just love the satisfying deeds that I give to you?” “You know the answer, damn well.” I gently remove her hand, but she persists in caressing me. I am overcome with a sense of feebleness, causing me to shut my eyes. The revulsion I feel is overwhelming. This wild woman’s madness couldn’t hold me back. “If we don't start a family, my parents will despise you, and others will covet you because they yearn to claim you as their own. You may possess some degree of power, but it pales in comparison to the sheer might of the strongest Lycan female in the entire werewolf realm.” Her teeth sank into her plump lower lip as a sly smirk crept across her face. “What are your thoughts on this matter?” — Amara perspective “I don’t have any thoughts about that, and you just can’t ask me about that to survive—” With a sly grin, he declares confidently, “I can.” “Your eyes speak volumes, Amara. I can sense the depth of your experiences just by gazing into them.” He tightly clutched his chest with his hand. “That's absolutely dreadful, and you're completely worthless.” His words left me wide-eyed and alert. "What the hell?" I feel angry with his words, but I maintain my composure. A soft and playful laughter escapes his lips. His intense gaze locked onto mine as he spoke, “I know you're eager to be of useful.” "But I know you also can't be," “You will get everything you want once you agree with this,” He draw even more closer into me. “Anyway, this is not an option.” I feel like my heart beat is even more audible right now. I don’t know what he meant with that. “What the heck are you talking about? This is so ridiculous . . .” My body quivers with an uncontrollable shiver. “Listen closely, for this is your destiny, the path that you must now tread in life.” His fingers brushed against my skin as he gently caressed my cheeks.
