Slithers

I have no other option but to embrace his proposal if I want to continue living. “Amara?” As I stand there, a figure emerges from the distance, gradually approaching me with each step. My eyebrow arched in surprise. “Yes?” “Come with me,” he ordered. “You must venture into the realm of doctors to seek medical attention.” He strides off, leaving me in his wake, assuming I'll trail after him. Exhaling deeply, I take measured strides to trail behind him. As I entered the room, the sterile scent of antiseptic filled my nostrils, and my eyes were immediately drawn to the figure of the doctor standing in the corner. But my attention was quickly diverted to the imposing presence of Lycan Magnus, who stood tall and imposing beside him. As I gaze into his eyes, a sly grin spreads across his face upon catching sight of me. I am uncertain of his true motives. Lucius’ words cut deep as he declared that I held no worth. Lucius exudes an aura of dominance as an Alpha, while Magnus, a powerful Lycan, stands out among the rest. To my surprise, he recognized my worth and selected me to embark on this journey. I let out an exasperated sigh and sauntered into the room. “Stretch out your body and rest your head on the soft surface beneath you.” Magnus bellowed with authority. His voice feels like an icy breeze, so different from the warm and intimate tone he uses when it's just the two of us. My heart raced as I took a deep gulp, and slowly lowered myself onto the bed in the stark white room. With a heavy sigh, I finally lay down and braced myself as the doctor inserted a sharp object into my stomach. As she peered intently at the operation TV, I could hear her chuckling softly to herself as she checked her progress. “Is this a joke, Your Majesty?” she laughs and looks at me again. “This woman here isn’t pregnant,” I got my eyes wide open in terror, and stands up. “What on earth are you blabbering about? Did you think that you could determine whether or not I'm pregnant in a mere second? The statement you just made is so unbelievable that I hope you are joking—” “Stop.” Magnus gritted his teeth, feeling the muscles in his jaw tighten. “I can see right through your lies, woman. You’re desperately trying to save yourself but against my longest-serving and most professional doctor as your defense? You failed.” he says with a heavy sigh. My head jolted back and forth. “But I can feel it in my bones, I just know without a doubt that I’m pregnant—” The doctor’s lips curled into a sneer as he uttered, “It appeared as though you used to.” It suddenly dawned on me that the doctor in Lucius’ pack had eliminated my precious little one. Oh no, I’m in big trouble. “But that doesn’t imply that I'm being dishonest.” I crane my neck, scanning my surroundings with a critical eye. The room is thick with the presence of Alphas, their King Lycan looming over them all. I feel trapped, unsure of which direction to turn to escape. Magnus’ eyes blazed with a fiery red as he accused, “You’re lying,” I can feel the heat of his anger radiating off him like a scorching sun. “Fuck.” I attempted to flee the room, but my escape was thwarted as he effortlessly grabbed hold of my arm. His fingers are digging into my skin, leaving marks that will last for days. His biceps bulge with every movement, making it impossible for me to break free. I’m completely helpless, unable to defend myself against his overpowering strength. “You cannot escape the repercussions of your deceitful actions - the act of falsely accusing and trespassing into this place without justification. You must confront the aftermath of your choices.” The beta’s grip tightened around my hand, pulling me forcefully out of the room. Magnus trailed closely behind us. “Where in the world are you planning to whisk me away to?” I struggled to wrench my hands free from their grasp, but their grip was unyielding and overpowering, leaving me helpless and defeated. “Release me!” I aimed a swift kick at their pants, but to my dismay, Magnus swooped in and lifted me up as I stumbled. I despise being carried, and the sensation of being hoisted off my feet was not a pleasant one. I attempted to forcefully shove and strike him, but he swiftly covered my mouth, preventing any further action. He clutched me tightly and whispered, “You must be a spoiled little princess.” “You’re a master of deception, so skilled in the art of lying that it’s almost as if it’s second nature to you. You deceive me so thoroughly that I am left feeling utterly duped.” “I didn’t fool you!” As he hurled me onto the bed, I felt a searing pain shoot through my body as if my bones had been shattered into a million pieces. He burst into the room, slamming the door shut with a thunderous clap. His eyes bore into me with a withering glare, as if I were beneath his notice. “I promise you, Amara, I won’t cause you any harm,” “I hate being deceived, especially when it’s by someone younger than me,” he snarls as he plops down on the bed beside me. I wince in agony, feeling the weight of his frustration. “What add you going to do to me?” I attempted to crawl, but the searing pain in my back prevented me from moving any further. “Watch?” His fingers delicately weave through my hair, sending shivers down my spine. “Why do you anticipate that I will hurt you? The thought of causing any harm to a little dog, sends shivers down my spine.” A chuckle escapes his lips, as though he believes I’m jesting at this very moment. His fingers grazed my chin as he spoke, “You . . .” “I want to make you pregnant.” His thumb grazes my lower lip, teasing me as if I am nothing more than a toy to be played with. The meaning of his words eludes me. My body trembles uncontrollably. “W-Why?” “As I mentioned before, my dear Selene is unable to bring new life into this world.” He swallowed hard, his hand reaching out to touch my neck. “Don’t you want to make it out alive?” My heart races and my palms sweat in his presence. I slowly tilt my head up and down, feeling the weight of my emotions as salty tears trickle down my cheeks. “It’s excruciatingly difficult . . . I tremble at the thought of you causing me pain. I’ll comply with your wishes, but please don’t inflict any retribution or cast me away. I am sprinting as fast as I can, desperate to escape the fiery depths of hell.” I gaze into his piercing eyes. His eyes melted with tenderness. “I promise you, I won’t hurt you.” He gently tucked my hair behind my ear. “Grant my wishes and desires.” I give a subtle but definite bob of my head. He slithers up my body, his fingers tracing the buttons of my dress as they come undone one by one. “Can you feel the pain?” he gently stroked my back. “Sorry,” His lips brushed against my neck, sending shivers down my spine. I couldn’t help but close my eyes and savor the sensation. “You’re gonna have a baby for me, and my mate, Amara.” — “Magnus, who is that woman?” “Our baby will be carried by her as a surrogate mother.”
