{Wisteria}
When I got the news that our parents had been killed by so-called rogues, I prayed to the moon goddess that she would spare us from the torture we would have to face from our Alpha. I prayed that some long-lost relative would show up and take us away or that those so-called rogues would come back and finish the job and send us to our parents. I have seen the way our old Alpha of Red top pack treats orphaned kids and death would be better than that. He enslaves them and treats them like wild dogs. There was a 5-year-old little girl who he made cook for him and do his laundry. One day she accidentally burnt his toast and he gave her 5 lashings. After that, I never saw that little girl again and I can only imagine what else he made that poor girl do for him. I refused to let my siblings and I be subjected to that kind of life so we ran in the middle of the night. Thankfully I had money saved up and we were able to take a train the majority of the way and buy food and water. After the Luna and Alpha found us on his property I was sure we were going to be sent back to our pack. When Luna Aspen told us we were going to be staying here at green moon, all my worries faded away. Thank the moon goddess for these goddess-sent pack members. Hearing that Mr. and Mrs. Tifton wanted to take the 3 of us in and raise us without even really knowing us made me think our parents led us to this pack.
Once we were settled in our rooms, I started to feel things were going to start becoming normal for us again and I felt like this was our home. I mean I know it is now but I mean I felt like we were home with our parents. The way Mama Amanda and Papa Clay have been with us was just like our real parents were. We will always miss our real parents and I promise I will never let Acer or Rose forget them. We start our schooling soon and I cannot wait. I am excited to make some new friends and possibly meet my mate or at least find a boyfriend. Mama Amanda has been working with Rose on her reading every night before bed and Papa Clay has been teaching Acer how to hunt and fish. I have been watching Aspen and Annalynn and learning how to take care of the pack. I hope one day I have a love like Aspen and Hardin have. They are pretty much the perfect couple.
Things are so much more peaceful around the packlands now that, that crazy chick was caught. Mama Amanda and Papa Clay have asked to be our official guardians and we said yes. Today is a special day. Today is the day Aspen and my new big brother Hardin get married. Their wedding has been all the pack members can talk about. I haven't been here that long but in the time I have been here I know Aspen and Hardin are going to be the Best Husband and Wife/ Alpha and Luna aside from Mama Amanda and Papa Clay.
During the reception, Mr. And Mrs. Wright came up to me and told me how sorry they were to hear about our parents and that they were thankful that Mama Amanda and Papa Clay took us in and became our guardians. While talking to them I saw their son Dayton walking by the drink table and when he looked back we made eye contact. I felt weird and turned my head quickly. What in the world of wolves was that? I have seen a lot of cute boys here including my new soon-to-be brother-in-law Jakob. I know, I know he is off limits but hey I am a teenage girl. Anna thinks it's cute I find Jakob attractive. She also knows that's all and I would never go after someone else's mate. Whatever that feeling was when I looked at Dayton, I kind of liked it. It was almost like the air being sucked from my lungs and my stomach filling with butterflies flapping their wings and my body shook a little. Mrs. Wright caught on that something was going on with me and she asked to speak to me privately. When we walked into the garden she asked if I was ok. I said I wasn't sure. She asked what happened back there and I told her what happened when Dayton and I made eye contact. She tilted her head and then said what that was, must have been just teenage hormones. She asked if the 3 of us needed anything and I told her we were fine and that we had been shopping for what we needed. She told me that if there was anything I could think of not to hesitate to call. I told her thank you and we headed back to the reception. For some reason, I couldn't help myself and I watched Dayton's every move the rest of the reception. Maybe I was trying to figure out what that feeling was about, or maybe I was turning into some crazy she-wolf stalker like that Daphanie chick. Oh goddess I hope I am not. I told myself to talk to Anna and see if she could help me figure it out when I had a chance to sit down and talk to her. When the reception was over I took Acer and Rose to their rooms and I went to mine. I laid back on my bed and closed my eyes. Images of Dayton from tonight flooded my mind and I felt my cheeks warm. I sat up and sighed. I wish I knew what was going on with me. I went and jumped in the shower then went to bed.
