Alex and I have been here for almost a week and Beta Jakob has been like a big brother to us. Everyone here in this pack has been so kind and welcomed us in when we were told this would be our new home, Except for one. We had a run-in with a d*uche bag named Mikael. I am sitting in the living area waiting on Alex to come down so we can eat dinner when this smell hits me. It's a faint smell but it's enough to cause my wolf Angus to stir. I got up and followed the smell; the closer I got, it became stronger and sweeter. I thought the kitchen may have been baking something sweet but I realized the smell wasn't something in the oven. This smell was coming from a young lady that was sitting in the kitchen talking to one of the girls in the kitchen. As I walked into the kitchen the young lady froze and slowly turned toward me. When she stood up, Angus said, "Mate." I asked him if he was sure and he said, "you stupid human, I can sense our mate."
I asked the young lady what her name was and she said, "Hi my name is Brie Whitley. Who are you?" I said hello Brie my name is Evander Tiffin. My twin brother and I are new pack members. She blushed and said, "It's nice to meet you Evander. I guess you and I are mates." I said it seems like we are. I asked if she wanted to go for a walk after dinner and she said she would love to. I kissed the back of her hand and said until then beautiful.
I went back into the living area and saw Alex coming down the stairs. when he came up to me he asked what was wrong. I told him nothing was wrong but I did have something to tell him. He asked me what was going on and I told him I found my mate. He said you found you're what and I said I found my mate. He said he was happy for me and said let's go eat now. While we were eating Alex asked me what my mate's name was and I told him Brie and that we were going to be going on a walk after dinner. I told him he needed to get out and see if he could find his mate and he told me he didn't have time to search for his. He said his main focus was to train and become a guard to the Luna and Alpha's sister. I told him I was also focused on those things as well and I didn't go out and search for her I found her just by sitting in the packhouse.
After I walked Brie home, the Alpha's SUV pulled up and the luna told me to get in. while I was sitting there the Alpha's sister kept looking at me and then yelled "No Way." The alpha asked what was going on and Miss Annalynn told him I found my mate. I asked how she knew that and she told me she could sense it. After being congratulated I was asked what my mate's name was and when I told everyone they got quiet and the Luna said she was going to get Brie to come to her office and we were going to talk tomorrow. I wondered why the Luna would need to talk to us but I didn't question her. When we got back to the packhouse I went upstairs and then headed to bed.
After training, I was called up tot he luna's office and on my way up I saw Brie. when we sat down in front of the Luna's desk she began explaining Brie's tie to Mikael and that he tried to assault her on her 18th birthday. I asked her why the alpha didn't kill him and she told me she asked him not to in hopes he would learn from his mistake but she said he got even worse and has done nothing but disrespect her since she got here because she is from another pack and he thinks he has more rights here because he was born into the pack. She explained how she outed him as a monster to the pack and how he was banned from the packhouse after being thrown into a concrete wall for calling her a b*tch and grabbing her arm. Brie then told me about how Mikael tried to force himself on her after she told him no and the Luna found her walking and crying. I told the Luna about Alex and I having a run-in with him the other day and how he called us trash and said rude things about her and the alpha. She told me if we had another run-in to record it either by video or voice recording and I said I would. Brie and I went back to my room and we mated. I told her I wouldn't mark her until the second time because I wanted to enjoy our first time without any pain.
Today is Miss Annalynn's birthday and Brie, Alex, and I went for a walk on the trail behind the packhouse this morning after Alex and I did some training. when we came off the trail and into the backyard of the packhouse I heard an aggressive growl. Mikael was walking up to us and he grabbed her by the arm and asked what I was doing with his girl. Alex got in front of me and said she isn't your girl. I stepped in front of Alex and said you may have had a thing with her in the past but she is with me so back off and let her go. He slung Brie aside and got in my face. Alex tried to get in between us but I wouldn't let him. I needed to stand up for myself and for my mate. I heard a roar and could see Alpha Hardin running from the packhouse door and as soon as I went to bow Mikael hit me. I heard another roar and when I looked up alpha Hardin had tackled Mikael to the ground. Alpha Hardin wouldn't let Mikael get up and he was chewing him out for disrespecting him and for hitting me when I didn't do anything. Mikael looked up and said f*ck that piece of trash and his trash brother. Mikael told the alpha he was a sh*tty Alpha for allowing trash off the street into their pack. Before the Alpha could reply he was being pulled off Mikael by Beta Jakob, Gamma Thomas, and the former Alpha Clay. Luna Aspen was asking Brie what happened and when Brie started to explain, Mikael called her a f*cking liar and said I attacked him. Alpha Hardin roared at him and told him to shut the f*ck up because he saw everything. Mikael was put in a cell and Alpha Hardin told me to go see doctor Morris. When we returned to the packhouse we went to the dining hall and Alpha Hardin asked what the damage was. I told him nothing was broken just bruised. He gave us the time to meet later for Miss Annalynn's birthday dinner and after breakfast, we went about our day.
