(Callie pov)
When i asked Adam if he wanted to go for a run, i really thought he was going to say no he was tired, but he ended up saying yes,so we went into the woods took our clothes off shifted into our wolves and started to run, we ended up at the lake, the lake that we first saw each other we had talked for hours that day getting to know each other, i didn't know he was going to be the next alpha, i came from another pack that lost a war with rogues, the ones that lived scattered going to other packs, others went to the human side to work as humans and to live as humans only shifting during a full moon to go for runs, others decided to go rogue, i decided since i had no family to find a pack to live, i found this pack stated my loyalty to the old alpha not knowing they had a son just yet, i did my oath and i have been in the pack for almost 24 years now, this was my home my family, when we decided to start dating, that’s when he told me he was the next alpha in line, even his father had told him to leave me be to find his true mate, but he didn't want to find his mate, he had already fallen inlove with me and i him, I had never thought about looking for my mate i loved Adam, why would i look for someone i was just going to reject, We made love under the moon tonight, and trust me, if i thought people would not hear me, i would be doing more then just moaning out his name, when we where done we didnt bother shifting back we started running back to the pack house into the house and up to the bedroom, where he started on me once more, damn this man he knew just how to turn me on to no return, when we where finally done, we took our showers and laid down i knew we where both tired, i fell a sleep right away, but after a few hours i awoke with him lightly snoring, i watched him sleep for awhile, watching his chest slowly go up and down, my finger tips traced the tattoo that was on his chest to his neck, it was a little hot so i carefully got out of bed walking to the windows opening them up, i looked out into the woods enjoying watching the owls flying around trying to catch their dinner my wolf Lita was whimpering wanting to go out for another run, I told her tomorrow after the Oval pack leaves we will go for a run i promise, but let's get back to bed, we have a long day tomorrow,
‘But Callie, i feel that something is going to happen tomorrow, something bad, we need to leave while we can”
“Lita we are not going to go anywhere, this is our home, we have our mate right here our chosen mate, and i'm not going anywhere without him,”
she whimpers again, did she know something I did not know? was something going to happen that she knew that i didn’t. sometimes that wolf confuses the hell out of me, shutting the windows i walked back to the bed, carefully getting back into bed not to wake him up, she turned on her side falling asleep, she didn't know Adam was awake he felt her get up from the bed and watched her while she stood at the window. he laid there watching her wishing with all his might that she would come back to bed, he pretended to be a sleep when she did come back she turned on her side, when he heard her light snore, he laid there listening like he had done every night with the years they had spent together, tomorrow is going to be a long day, and he knew it was the treaty the dinner with them leaving then the ceremony, he often wondered if that is what she really wanted, it's the reason why he marked her so early, to let her know that is what he truly wanted, i knew she didn't want to marked so early, she wanted it at the ceremony, but i knew she dealt with it, instead of me marking her I will let her mark me instead. i think that is a terrific idea, by the time i went to sleep, i think i only got five hours of sleep, but that is alright, because i got to wake up beside my mate and soon to be luna, i got out of bed knowing she will be waking up soon enough, i took another shower dried off got dressed and black jeans and a black button up shirt, putting on my shoes i headed downstairs to the office, i wanted to make sure there was nothing else to do today that would keep me away from doing the treaty and the dinner, i set at my desk noticed some paperwork that needed to be done, sighing knowing i needed to get all of this done before anyone got here, i signed paperwork filed them made some phone calls checked my email, everything was done, i set back lit a cigar then relaxed, i knew today was going to be a good day, to day is the day of the treaty, i can't wait to get them off my land, the faster we get this done the faster they can leave,

i awoke not really wanting to go to this Blood oval pack, this pack was the largest and strongest pack out there, but we were having to much trouble with rogues lately, we needed help and if that help comes from that pack that is fine by me, my mate Birdie came into the bedroom smiling at me,
“Honey, i know you don’t want to go, we won't stay the night, we will go sign the paperwork have dinner and we will leave, that way the faster we get done the faster we can get out of there, so don’t worry so much, we will be alright,” I nodded kissing her cheek,
‘We are leaving about two that way we can sign, eat and then leave,”
