chapter 23

{Van pov}

it was a quiet morning when i woke up, it was to quite that it made me wonder what was going on, i took a shower got dressed and headed down stairs, i saw Cooner on the phone in his office, So i walked inside kissed his cheek whispered to him that i was going to go train, he nodded and kissed me back, I walked out of the office to outside to the training grounds where the rest of the group was, we ran our hundred laps did our sit ups and other sorts of leg lift and push ups, then we spared, i was getting better after all these years, when i was a power seeker i didn't know how to fight, only to scream until there eardrums would burst and start to bleed, that was my only defence. Now I have other defences, when training was finally over with, I walked back inside and took a shower. dried off, then got dressed, i went back downstairs were Conner was still sitting in his chair but not on the phone, he was looking at emails and sorting out paperwork so he could sign, i set in his lap while he was doing this, he chuckled and said,

“Now how am I supposed to get anything done with a beautiful woman sitting on my lap?” I giggled and told him this,

“Well gee I don't know Mr Alpha, how could you do all this while a beautiful woman is sitting on your lap.”

he held me tight kissing my marking spot that sent shivers up and down my body, i loved how he kissed me like that,

“So, how was training, did anyone spar against each other today?” nodding i told him about Jax sparing against His old friend Buddy, it was a sight to see both of them just couldn't not beat one another they know each other's moves to well,”

“well they have been friends since they were five years old, oh thinking of pups. how about you and I start practising later on today?” he wiggles his eyebrows,

“it's a date love but we have to get this work done or you will never get it done,”

{Jodi pov}

It has been a few weeks since we have been here and let me tell you i have seen nothing that is danger around here, we been flying up every single day watching the grounds for any danger, and nothing, we seen lots of animals that’s about it, we were getting tired i wanted to fly and just sore up high in the sky, i finally told my crew we will wait one more week and i would tell alpha Adam that there is no danger, it is gone whatever it was before is gone now. because to tell you the truth there was just way to many trees and to many things to grab and eat, I shifted into my eagle and flew up into the sky to look for any signs of danger, Kidz and Cruz with Danna was up here as well, the rest of the group was resting until tomorrow, we where looking between the trees when i saw something move it changed colours to match with the trees, “what the f**k is that?” i kept watching and i saw another one, those sons of a bitches have been here all along, they can just blend into the woods, mother fucker, we kept watching, and that’s when seen them, it must have been thirty to fifty rogues running in wolf form toward the land, I hurried to link Dusty, i knew he was away he was with Adam and Callie with their child,

“Dusty, Danger DANGER, THEY ARE HERE DANGER!!” That's all i had to say because a few seconds later everyone came out of the pack house, this time they were ready for them, one by one the pack came out of their houses, they all shifted into their wolves, we were up in the sky waiting to dive down to grab them with our claws, and then here they came, all came running out of the woods, and these creatures, they looked weird and scally, it looked like really human like lizards,

they ran behind the rogues stopped and just watched what they would do, I saw Dusty shift, i didn't see the little girl she was locked away in a room, so i hoped she was, Adam with Callie, Conner with Van all shifted,, every single pack member began to run toward them snarling and growling, i kept an eye on Dusty he was a large dark brown wolf, his eyes were dark right now because his wolf Ticker was in control, i watched from above when they collided with each other, they began the fight, and let me tell you, it was one badass fight,

{Dusty pov}

i was in the living room with Alpha Adam and Luna Callie, i knew not to call her that because Adam told me not to, they were still not together, i think they should be but I knew Callie was still on her guard, she did not trust Adam as far as she could throw him right now, Ivory was playing with her dolls on the floor while we talked and watched her play, When i heard the link from Jodi, i told them what was said, Callie took Ivory to the safe room with the rest of the pups, told her not to leave until she came and got her, she shut and locked the door just incase then ran outside to join us, we shifted into our wolves and waited for them to come onto the land, this time everyone was ready for them, this was going to be one hell of a war, We saw them come running in wolf form out of the woods with their red eyes and drool coming out of their mouths,there is something wrong with these rogues, we have to end them fast i told Adam, he agreed there was something wrong with them, all of us ran toward them as we all colladed together, i ripped ones throat out really quickly turning to the next, one jumped on me then another, i kicked them both off turned jumping over them onto another i bit into its stomach ripping it open letting it bleed out, I saw the hawks and eagles they were diving down to do something, i saw what they were after, those looked really weird, When Jodi’s Eagles grabbed one of their heads she ripped it right off its shoulders it bled a weird greenish color, the other birds were doing the same,

{Adam pov}

I didn’t know what the hell was going on at first, I watched the rogues come running out of the woods drooling out the mouth with there biddy red eyes, they smelled horrible like spoiled milk and rotten eyes with a dead skunk all mixed together, what they hell was wrong with them, and what did those things do to them, i agreed with Dusty we had to end them fast, I watched as Callie bite into the rogues throat ripping it open then ran to another ripping its stomach out, i did the same as i grabbed onto one's head ripping it off and spitting it on the ground, everyone was killing these rogues to easy, when all the rogues were dead there was more coming, but something really crazy happened, I heard a loud scream the loudest scream I have ever heard, everyone stopped turned and looked, and if i was human at this very second my mouth would had dropped,

{Ivory the pov of a child}

I knew my mommy put me in this room to keep me safe but i needed to help them, i don't like it in here it's too small and all the children are crying wanting there mommy and daddie, so i did what i learned last week i took a big magnet and placed it on the door to unlock it, it work yay! i told everyone else to stay in this woom don't get in touble like im bout to, i ran out of the house an i saw everything that was happening, what in the wold is going oin, i heard something in my head, was it i got my woofy to, what is yor name woffy, she giggled and said my name is Lexy, shal we stop this,” i agreed, so I srweemed on the top of my litle lung cold, it made everyone stop even those weird looking things then Lexy spoke for me, becase i didn't know what to say after that,

“I am Lexy, i am the alphas daughter wolf, I demand this stop right now, what are you doing! the rogues looked at her like she was crazy, but then the drooling stopped and the red eyes were gone, they wondered where the heck they were and why are they doing here, they snarled at the power seekers they tried to run, but the rogues grabbed them killing every single one of them, then one of them shifted and hurried to get dressed in shorts, he spoke and a loud voice,

“I Do not know why we are actually here and why are most of my rogue pack are dead, but they had some kind of power over us, because we did not agree to do this, i dont even rememeber the last time i set down the last time was when those things came, and thats it, we are done here,” he looked over at the little girl that spoke. he bowed his head toward her, and said,

“LIttle alpha, i am truly sorry that we are here, we will not return,”

with that he ran into the woods with the rest of his pack that was still alive, Callie shifted back put on shorts and a shirt and ran over to were Ivory was, she bent down looking at her eyes, and sure enough it was Lexy she was looking at,

“Lexy is that your name, my daughter is still young, please do not make her shift it will only hurt her and might kill her,”

“Mother do not worry, i will not have her shift until later on in life, i been here since she was one years old, i only came out to stop this stupid fight, those nasty things are gone now, and im going back in so Ivory can come back out, she looked over at Adam,

“Alpha, your daughter loves you, but she also knows you hurt her mother, so be very careful with your words, because she will not give you a second chance,”

she went back inside and let Ivory back out, Ivory was giggling,

“Mommy, that was soooooooo much funnnn, can we do it again, can Lexy come out to play again?”

her mother held her tightly in her arms hugging her gently, this was just way to much for one day, she was tired,

“Not right now honey, we need to go back inside so I can shower and your daddy can to, and let the clean up crew clean this mess up, she turned to Adam, and said,

“I think we need to talk, but let me shower first and we can do that,” adam agreed as they all went inside he went to his room and showered and so did Callie, once showered he went to her room and set down, this was the start of there life,
