OCEAN POV
I was in a beautiful garden which was so bright and radiant. I wasn't alone, actually. I saw Zuri, who is in her wolf form, and I in my human form walking towards me.
I rushed to her and pulled her into a tight hug.
“Can you not try to kill me with your hands? I can't breathe.” I heard her say in my mind.
I pulled away and smiled at her.
“Sorry. I am just happy to see you. Guess what? We made it. We won the challenge.” I said, jumping in excitement.
“Yes indeed. We won.” she said with a wolfy grin on her face.
“Fianlly we have proved ourselves as the luna of the pack. Now, we earned our respect and title.” she added proudly.
“We did. Now we will accept here as the luna, and we don't need to run with the kids again. At least I have finally found a permanent home for them.” I said, feeling so relieved.
“Not only for them but also for yourself and too. You have found a permanent home in Nolan, our new mate. He is better than our previous mate, and he is sure going to take care of us and the kids so well. I mean, he has already started doing that already. So please Ocean try to accept him no matter what.” Zuri said.
“But I am scared. What if one day he decides not to accept my kids since they aren't his?” I asked, expressing my fears.
“I don't think Nolan is that kind of person. He won't do that. He already loves them already. We just need to trust him and not doubt the love he has for them.” she advised.
“Alright fine. I will give it a try.” I said.
“Good girl. Now we need to get back because everyone is anxiously waiting for us most especially our mate. I can feel his emotions even right here.” she said.
I smiled and closed my eyes.
I could hear noises from the background, but I couldn't open my eyes.
“..... are waiting for you badly to just open your eyes. Jayden hasn't been eating well since you collapsed. I tried, and we all tried to make him eat, but he has refused because he needs his mummy. Please wake up, baby. I want to see your eyes.” I heard.
I knew it was Nolan. Zuri was right about him being so anxious because I could also hear it from his voice.
“Don't worry, Nolan. I am sure she will wake up soon. Nothing is going to happen to her. You also need to rest yourself. You have been taking care of her and haven't had any rest.” I heard his mother say.
“How can I rest when my mate is lying unconsciously on the bed? I can't rest until she wakes up and I am sure she is doing fine. I can't sleep knowing she is in this state all because of me.” he said.
Now, he is blaming himself for a decision I made. Why will he do that?
“Because he loves you. Now, can you stop pretending and just open your eyes already. Stop torturing him.” Zuri said.
I opened my eyes and shut them immediately because of how bright the place was.
“Did you see that? She opened her eyes just now, right?” I heard.
I opened my eyes again, and this time, the brightness didn't disturb me.
Without looking around, I saw Nolan head right in front of my face.
“Baby can you hear me. Can you see me?” he asked, waving his hands in front of my eyes.
I let out a groan sound to respond to him.
“Did you hear that? She is awake. Go get the doctor mum.” he said.
He looked at me and gave me a full-blown smile. He looked so handsome smiling at me like this.
