Melissa was fuming at this point. Not because he was being disrespectful but because he pointed out something that she never wanted to hear.
“Mr Tony Collins. I’m going to ask you to leave if you have nothing else to say. I have things to do and I’m sure you do to so let’s not waste our time, okay?” She said not wanting to react in a way that she would regret later.
She didn’t want to lose an investor as big as Tony over something like this.
Tony lowered his head to the table knowing that he had crossed the line. He knew that he was wrong for saying that regardless of how he felt.
“I shouldn’t have said that. I’m sorry, Caitlyn.” He said genuinely, taking a few steps away from her, ashamed of himself.
