“The doctor is here, Lisa. I’ll give you a few minutes to get ready before I bring her in.” Grace tells me, her head peeking through the door.
I had only just woken up a few minutes ago. After overhearing the conversation between the cooks, I found it really hard to fall asleep. There was so much going on in my head that I didn’t realise that I had stayed up late.
Julian spent a lot of time in the library and as soon as he came back, he crashed on the bed but not before giving me a goodnight kiss which I lazily responded to. I wasn’t sure about him anymore after hearing what those ladies had to say.
It was also possible that I misunderstood things so I wasn’t really confronting him head-on. Instead, I was going to figure out the truth myself without letting anyone know.
