“Melissa?” The voice says, startling me. At first, I think it is my wolf but after a few seconds , I realize that the voice was nothing like that of my wolf. No, it is too familiar.
“I know you can hear me, Melissa. Talk to me.” The voice says and I feel a tear slip out of my eye.
God, I missed him so much.
I keep quiet, not wanting him to think that I had forgiven him for his actions or that I was ready to mend things. I still think that this is the best way to protect my son from those murderers who killed my parents.
I try to focus my mind on something else, just to get him off of it but it seemed like the mind link had been already open. It definitely wasn’t opened by me so it had to be my wolf.
