GRACE
The door opens to reveal an angry Nolan. Just behind him was Christine who also looked like she was about to pounce on someone.
“No one touches Grace.” He says coming to stand in front of Alpha Benjamin as a way of warning him and I take the time to look at Dylan once again.
How could one even betray their mate? I never thought it was possible. At least, not until today, now my mate whom I thought was going to fight the world for my sake had betrayed me.
“What do you think you’re doing?” Alpha Benjamin’s voice is filled with surprise and anger. He probably couldn’t believe that Nolan was trying to challenge his authority.
Nolan looks towards me and immediately, his expression soften as he sees the fear in my eyes. He gives me a reassuring nod before turning back to Alpha Benjami
