“So, have you decided who you want to be with yet?” Madison asked, letting herself fall onto the couch next to Mackenzie, who had just returned from a kitchen shift, helping out in the pack where she could. The distraction helped ease her overstimulated mind.
Mackenzie’s thoughts kept circling back to Alpha George’s funeral. It was a sorrowful event. The pack members that were left, were desolated by the death of their beloved Alpha.
Georgia had stood at the very front with her mother and brother, a large photo of the fallen Alpha next to her, as she addressed her pride, taking on the role of the new Alpha.
The only bright spot during the whole ordeal had been witnessing Evangeline finding her mate in Georgia’s brother, Edward.
